So we are trying out the IA12 Campaign for Fall of Orpheus in my local group and I have been taking this list for most of my fights and have been doing very well. I though I would see about getting some input/thoughts on it.

I normally run the commander with the Missile Pod suites but have moved him to the Riptide when I need to ignore cover and twin-link the Ion Accelerator. The Missile Suites along with the Broadsides have been extremely successful in an Air Defense roll as well as anti-tank. The Rail Rifle Pathfinders have made waves when they outflank and tend to kill a vehicle/squadron and harass Terminators and similar units. The Demiurg have been awesome as a distraction and throwing out tons of fire.

I can't say I have had anyone find any real weak points in the list yet. I did almost have some issues with a Rhino Rush list with a Flying Daemon Prince and Heldrake, but once he actually got out of the vehicles it was over pretty quickly. Most Deep Strikers have come in piecemeal allowing me to be selective about what units I shoot at them.

I don't care what you say. I found a lightsaber in my garage and that makes me a Jedi.

The Twilight Zone

Interesting call using HRR broadsides instead of missilesides, but I see you have plenty of missiles in your list.

The demiurg could use a hound if you can find a good counts as model. The ability to re roll outflanking is worth it.

Does the early warning override really help on your plasma crisis suits? S6 wont exactly stop much in the way of drop pods or fliers. Maybe deep strike terminators if they are common in your meta. I would drop this and buy stuff elsewhere.

With all those warriors, it is tempting to shoe in an ethereal, but the suit heavy approach works well too.

Sad to see hammerheads without d-pods, but I know points are tight.

Consider iridum for your commander. He is your warlord, so every bit of protection counts. Not being instagibbed by S8 as well as 2+ armor to tank things like krak missiles for the suits.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.
