I've had my eye on this for a while, and now it's out. I was wondering if anyone's tried it yet and tell me if it's really as good as it looks? And also, whether co-op mode is any good as I'd be looking to play it with the ladyfriend.
From what I can see combat looks fairly similar to Arkham Asylum/City without the gadgets, which is pleasing if that's accurate.

They have a demo that's 1.2 gigs. I tried to DL it, but my Xbox listed it as pending and wouldn't let me. I think it's cuz I turned on a DVD at the same time. When it finally DLs, I'll tell you. But try the demo.

So far, so good. I'll be buying it soon. There are a few button issues, I think. The specials are hard/annoying to use, as they tell you when to do them, but they don't actually happen. Yes, I realize you have to buy them, but I bought one for Raph and it didn't work. I think maybe they don't work in the demo. That said, the game runs smoothly, and the cut scenes are done like comic book panels, and the turtles are constantly quipping with each other. I think the designers had fun making the game. Solid for a $15 game, if it were a full $50 (current new game price), I'd call it a rip off. $15 is fine. Graphics are good too.

Bought this last night and played solo for a bit. I've been looking for co-op games lately and for $15 bucks it's hard to pass up TMNT, especially if you're a fan of nickolodeon's latest iteration of the show. (Which I am. ) I bought it for PC, but use a 360 controller and the game runs super smoothly.
I'm not sure on the unlock/level system just yet. I have some points saved up but having to spread them across all the turtles seems like it's going to hurt multiplayer a bit.

and so forth. We'll see though.
About this post..
Apparently co-op doesn't work on PC right now. Activision is "working on it", but if you're getting it for co-op, don't waste your money.
Well, I got it, and I've only played a single mission so far - but I have to say I'm mildly disappointed (the low price keeps me from feeling worse).
Perhaps it's just where I'm not fully familiar with the combat system's mechanics yet, or perhaps I've been spoiled by the Arkham games, but the Turtles themselves feel tough to control with attacks missing their targets or going off in completely the wrong direction. This wouldn't be so bad if the combo modifier didn't exist, or worked differently.
It feels like a lazy PC port as well - only a handful of resolution options (which luckily can be changed via config file), no way to change key settings and the camera behaviour can't be changed, which makes strafing/sidestepping completely unworkable for me (it keeps snapping back to face forward, which means I can't actually see where the turtle is sidestepping too).
These are all mechanical complaints in a game that thematically feels, looks and sounds spot on - which only bothers me more, because if that were pants too, I'd have just brushed it off as failure and moved on. But I want to make this work. I'm hoping someone has a way I can fix that damn camera in particular...
