Deathguard - they actually look like something that has been stuck in the warp for 10,000 years. I also like their doctrines of using heavy infantry with support instead of a heavily mechanized force.

I love sons of mallal, I wish there would be much more about them, fluff some rules spells maybe?

Night Lords, but only when they go light on the bat aesthetic, lol. Such cool looking models and paint scheme, and then they get ruined by silly bat-hats and wings.


I used to like the Alpha Legion when their fluff was about being arrogant jerks who turned traitor out of that arrogance, and then were forced to bitterly turn to a millenia long guerrilla war after the defeat of Horus. But then The Black Library ruined them.

Death Guard all the way.

Not a fan of calling legions "Warbands" but whatever. I voted Iron Warriors because they're the evil version of my Imperial Fists. I love the idea of giant war engines, artillery (I was in the artillery for a while) and a tough as nails attitude.

I'll go with Alpha Legion. I quite like their focus on covert, cultist-driven warfare. A contrast to the other forces of Chaos, who are usually far more blatant.

Word Bearers all the way. I love the zealotry, fanaticism and all the worst aspects of fundamentalist religious belief. To me, the combination of sci fi and medieval religious fanaticism is what makes 40K. I like the dark red color scheme. I like how they chumped the Ultramines at Calth. I like that they are still a legion, unlike the others. Face it, they are awesome.
