I spent an absolute age hand blending every line and hand blending the OSL glow on the orbs. I think I've achieved a richness and neatness doing it this way that couldn't be achieved if I'd used my airbrush.

If you'd like to see more pictures check out my blog.

My Necron painting tutuorial is here if you'd like to know in detail the techniques that went in to painting the model.

Thanks for taking the time to check this out.

That is outstanding! You are talented to say the least! Great work on the red highlighting!

You're rich! You're flashy! You 'ave a proppa Orky stoutness about your belly! And you've got more big, shooty, and dead 'ard gear than any 2 other Orks put together. Da uvver clans orta make way for da Bad Moons!

I must say, that is a kickass paint job. Any chance of seeing a full necron force shot?

Pretty much but I glazed inbetween the layers to help the blends on the larger scale.

I would have been driven utterly mad doing that. My attempt would also be rubbish. Kudos to you, sir.

it's quite a boring model to pint by hand, very repetitive. I just didn't fancy airbrushing it though. I feel airbrushed models looked rushed nowadays.

Truely delicious work.
The white orbs are absolutely stunning (the one in the center of the Spyder 0_o ).
The red, black and blue compliment each other so well too - I would not have thought it.

Very nice I like that you chose to do red and not green like I have seen in other people painting. The other models look pretty awesome too

I love the redcrons, and that model is very, very nice.

I've got to ask, though, can you post a bigger picture of that tomb spyder for us?
