Hey folks,

I have a few shots of a chaos hellbrute from the DV set.

Also, this one will be my very first e-bay listing (exciting! ) so here's the link to it if this one tickles your fancy: http://www.benl.ebay.be/itm/161099034959?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649

Looks good! I really like the Zombie-head.

Playing mostly Necromunda and Battletech, Malifaux is awesome too!

Zombie head is an excellent addition. I feel like it has a solid paint job, but the skin tones(fleshy bits) lack depth. They join the armor too seamlessly in color in my opinion. A few other washes and a brighter highlight on the skin could really set it off.

I really appreciate the gore effect.
It is often done too static whereas you've achieved a more 'stringy' effect where the blood and gore are affected by gravity.

Nice job

Cool stuff with the blood and everything! Personally I'm missing a bit of contrast as the whole model seems to be mostly brown with some purple details. I know its nurgle, but I would've wanted to see the armor plate edges lend some more contrast to the model as a whole. Maybe it does that better in real life, as I see you painted gold edges there..

My attempt at constructive criticism here.

Added zombie head?

Anyways, what I actually like most about this is the base. Green river of slime FTW. The rest of the model is, well... a hellbrute.

Really nicely done, love the base. How did you pull off the blood effect on his claws?

its hard to appreciate a hellbrute because the model is so UGLY - but, this is awesome lol. I always thought Nurgle had more of a snot green look but the base still gives you that plague-riddled look.

The blood effects are made with some UHU type glue (the one that goes all stringy) and tamiya clear red.

I just wanted to try the technique and experiment a bit with the base etc. It worked out ok, but the model is now just standing around here (and don't play chaos at all). Figured I might try to sell it off via the interwebz.
