Ended up picking up a ton of dark angels stuff with dark vengance .... primed around 50 tactical marines with a kyron spray paint that is pretty much the same color as dark angels green. After looking through some stuff I am thinking about just making a chapter (that could be interchangeable between dark angels / blood angels / C:SM) not exactly sure on the color scheme yet, but does it matter if the priming is dark green instead of black or white?

Thanks.

In terms of paint adhesion and primer properties, the color should not matter. However, the color will definitely affect the colors you lay down on top of it. I use the dark green primer for a lot of things myself. If you give it a nice Nuln Oil wash and some edge highlighting, you could get decent results very quickly,

For Blood Angels, I like priming with the brown as it supports a red layers better than black.

Yes and no. As Ifurita said, primer is primer (or enamel is enamel - not sure what you used), regardless of color. With enough paint, the underlying color becomes irrelevant. It will, however, make the painting process much more or less difficult, depending on its appropriateness for your scheme (as anyone who has primed black for a predominantly white or yellow scheme can attest). Decide how you want to paint them, first. Dark green may be fine or you may want to respray them.
