Hello fellow dakkanites


Sooooo,this is going to be my place to record the trials and tribulations as I rebuild and refit(add more detail) and repaint my titan legion

I had these all packed away all safe but our cats decided the closet as a good place to play hide and seek and got into the box I had these stored in,and well yeah ,theres lots of reglueing to be had. My gf won't let me turn the cats into biotitans or throw them away so I am making lemons out of marbles or something like that,,,,,,,


The legion consists of


3 scratch built reavers I built years ago
2 scratch built warhounds I had built for me a couple years ago

and a knight household consisting of

1 Baron
3 Knights
1 warden

My plan is to add more detail with bits,plasticard and what not
rebuild 12 of the turbo laser barrels with a lighter material that looks better
replace of of the reavers chainsaw arms with a powerfist.,,,cause I want to build one and drive myself insane

and repaint everything in a new paint scheme,using blue as the main color,yellow as a contrast color and silver for things like pistons,leg machinery and the like

step one is complete,,,reglue everything the cats broke,spent the afternoon doing that,much to the annoyance of my gf as I had titans and titan parts alll over our bed spread as I worked on them and laid out the parts,,,,she was oh so excited about helping,,,,LOL

step two will be to dig through all my various hordes of bits and see what I want to add,,,,and find somewhere to get cheap plastic tubing of different diameter for gun barrels
perhaps find somewhere I can get cheap larger scale decals,,,,,

I think when it comes to painting I will start with the knights and go up from there.
but for now thats it for the day,,,,hoping this only takes a couple months.

ok so a bit of an update of sorts

ended up getting this weekend off from work,woohoo,,,so my plan is to finish sorting more bits and start repainting my knights.

I am hoping to post some pics ,most likely that won't be till sunday.

well I've been slowly plodding away,,,have not had the time to put into the legion that I wanted but progress is progress however slow,

Right now I am focusing on the knights,,,had started with the two warhounds,,,adding details ect,but switched,,,,not sure why really,,,,

any how,,,,,

The first model up for detailing was my baron that I had bought from a trader that used to go by trooperpx
I used that model to built the rest of the troop off of.
I hacked off the chainsword arm and built him a lance.
then went about adding a greenstuff fluer de les for his shield and added a shield on one shin,,,re worked on shoulder pad so later I can paint on his personal heraldry.
he is going to some what look like this guy as it closely matches my families colors and the overall look I wanted. Still need to figure out how to make the icon for the banner pole..

for the warden I wanted him to look slow,kinda clunky and bulky so I am working on adding extra armour,plating and the like

for the 3 paladins I am working on detailing them out,adding plating,imperial details ect.
for their banners I am thinking of something more simple than the barons,,,like pennants or something.

Well with all the new pics coming out of the new knight kits I am fully inspired to finish these,,,,with some changes here and there.
going to work on them this evening,but with a house full of sick people guess whom gets to clean it,,,,

Pondering adding more toes,,,what do you all think?
Planning on shorting the barons lance

With lots of views,,,suggestions,comments,feedback would be donations of bits,,,LOL would be cool.

so Im working on painting the baron ,hoping to finish him this weekend,,,but as I am wondering,,,should I gs the heads to make them look more like knight helms or just stick with the halo esk heads,problem is I like both options
