Working on a Panzer Lehr division armored recce army. Currently have 3 3 car squadrons of Pumas, a squad of 8-Rad, platoon of Panzer IVs, 2 Jagdpanzers, some mobile anti-aircraft, and a full platoon of Lehr Panzergrenadiers in half tracks.

What should I be looking at tacticswise? Go for the strong center and bring the cars around the flanks? What should I be doing with the platoon of infantry? I am fairly new to the game so I am trying to figure things out. I prefer speed and initiative to flat out brute strength.

If you dont short hand your list, Im not reading it.
Example: Assault Intercessors- x5 -Thunder hammer and plasma pistol on sgt.
or Assault Terminators 3xTH/SS, 2xLCs
For the love of God, GW, get rid of reroll mechanics. ALL OF THEM!

Jesus....This is one hard list to play right, to win frankly you've got to make every decision right on. It's not very forgiving. This is more a veteran's list as you need to know the rules inside out and wring every advantage you can out of it to stand a chance.

You can do well, but only if you get behind enemy Armour, if you meet head on you will get massacred. Equally AT Guns will hurt you, especially the lighter types like 6 pounders.

Advantages, you are fast and mobile, and lots of options to remove gone to ground so always FLANK, FLANK FLANK. If you aren't constant moving you are doing it wrong.

Remember to remove gone to ground on enemy units to make your fire more effective.

Sorry to sound like negative nancy, but you will really need to play and stick with them as it will be depressing the 1st few outings because this is a difficult list to use effectively.

I play Lehr aswell!

Collecting Forge World 30k????? If you prefix any Thread Subject line on 30k or Pre-heresy or Horus Heresy with [30K] we can convince LEGO and the Admin team to create a 30K mini board if we can show there is enough interest!
