My friend plays CSM and he gave me his Hellbrute some eons ago to "orkify" and i did (posted it many times so i wont post it again, its in my gallery if youre interested). Before i packed up and moved back to the states he got his hands on another one somehow and again gave it to me to "orkify" - problem, i dont want 2 of these things because it takes away from the uniqueness.

Instead, i wanted to convert it into a Nurgle Daemon. He never runs any princes, but theres always a chance his nurgle characters might morph into one.

When this happens what do they have equipment wise? i know nothing about princes since the only time i saw it appear it was the end of the game anyway. Likewise, i have no idea how i should twist and warp this hellbrute's melta arm, if i should bother with wings, etc etc.

EDIT: Actually i should probably try to make removable wings just in case he wants to run a flying circus sometime lol

They just have a single CCW. No power armor, no guns, no powers, no wings.

Just the corpse of the champion they killed and the urge to beat someone to death with it.

Wow and thats suppose to be a good thing? lol. Tempted to just make it look like a flying nurgle daemon with whatever gear they normally would have if you bring them at all. Problem with that is like i said this guy never fields them normally lol

Yeah, it's pretty bad for a daemon prince, but still better than a champion!

Am I the only one that read a thread title of 'CSM Daemon Prince "Blessing"' and imagining one of those conversions where someone has 'blessed' their Slaaneshi daemon prince with a disproportionately large set of certain 'organs'...

Or has the internet just ruined what used to be a perfectly good imagination...

I say go for it, build whatever daemon prince you feel looks suitably bad-ass I wouldn't worry too much about it's loadout, you can always proxy one gun for another, and it doesn't really matter if a DP with wings doesn't have wings in the army list (he sprained a flight muscle ), if he doesn't use it, hey he's still got a bad-ass looking daemon prince, and you have had the joy of making it and then giving it to a good friend. You never know, he may start using it just because you have given him a bad-ass daemon prince

Nope! I was pleased that this turned out to not be another bad GS boob-job!

Well being a Hellbrute base, its probably going to be a little disproportionate lol but i aim to reposition his oddly high raised arm, remove armpit hairs, give him a demon head, remove the "spike collar" add wings (cuz wings, feth it), give him a proper right arm. Hes going to look like he has the power armor upgrade simply because thats way too much armor to remove and "repair" to make him look bare lol.

When people run them do they even give him a gun, or just a beatstick like the black mace or something? i might just make a hand that has a hole in it where you can swap out the black mace for other weapons...not that hard when the hand is large enough to not fall apart when doing it lol

If he's just representing someone turning into a prince from rolling on the boon table then yeah they pop out naked. If you actually buy a prince you can equip him with all sorts of stuff. Wings, armor, any of the artifact weapons, and psychic powers.

One thing I used to do with my daemons to wysiwyg their illusive psychic gear load out was get flame bits, color code them according to what psychic powers the character had, and magnetize them for sticking in the daemons hand. So a prince with the lash power had a long curly fire bit in his hand, another had a big fireball for bolt of tzeentch, etc.
