Hey guys looking for a fun and competitive list, this is what I came up with:

Farseer: singing spear; runes of warding; Eldar jetbike
Farseer: Shard of Anaris; runes of warding; Eldar jetbike
7 warlocks on bikes, 1 spear

5 Dire Avengers
• Wave Serpent: Holo-fields; twin-linked scatter laser; shuriken cannon

5 Dire Avengers
• Wave Serpent: Holo-fields; twin-linked scatter laser; shuriken cannon

5 Dire Avengers
• Wave Serpent: Holo-fields; twin-linked scatter laser; shuriken cannon.

10 Warp Spiders: Warp Spider Exarch (spinneret rifle)

Baron Sathonyx

5 Kabalite Warriors
• Venom: splinter cannon; grisly trophies; night shields

5 Kabalite Warriors
• Venom: splinter cannon; grisly trophies; night shields

1,850 points

I added the warp spiders in trade of a 4th avenger/serpent and added a 7th warlock as i had 50 free points - not sure if that's a good decision!

Thanks for looking.

Not sure why you are taking runes of warding... considering your going for fortune with your seers and have a good chance of getting it, you should have a 4+ re rollable DTW. The runes of warding are just not that critical, and points better spent elsewhere. If you dropped both sets of runes and the exarch down to a normal spider, you can get another warlock on a bike, without losing much killing power. An alternative would to get blasters for the kabbie squads and some singing spears.

DTW won't get fortune re-roll, its not a save. So if your meta is full of tzeentch daemons go ahead with the ROW, I simply hate being misfortuned all over my fortunue. Why would an extra warlock help in anyway? Keep the exarch, drop shard. He simply doesn't have enough attacks to make them worth while(Unless you are using deathmission, which you ARN'T), and its a lot of points to pay for fearless. That gives you some pts to play with. Throw some more spears in and give fast shot to your exarch. add blasters to taste.

That's as good as it gets when you are spending that much on the deathstar, but I must say you are severally lacking (as in your best hope are witchblades...) Anti land raider stuff. I would personally drop off a warlock and the shard as well as a spider or two and get yourself a ravager and fast shot as well as some spears. That gives you something to fall back on if you want to open up a transport so the council can charge the treats, I mean troops. I am assuming you are thinking the Spiders can serve as Anti air? I guess you can ignore some flyers (Storm raven) and deal with some others through back armour (Tau, eldar, dark eldar and back of necrons) but if you face a heldrake prey to your gods you get protect...

My 2 cents.

If your going that route, grab a few more warp spiders. Mayble split them into 2 squads.
This is what I ran at NOVA, and it did very well.

Drop the grisly trophies, I don't think they're worth it.
You should always have the extra splinter cannon on the venoms and giving the warriors blasters would be a good idea.
Warp spiders are great, keep those.
You've got a lot of mid strength weapons, so against light armour you'll do well, but even with the ravager, you could struggle against mech guard or equiv.
A 4 man blaster trueborn unit in venom could be a good investment.

You do realize that if grisly trophies saves a SINGLE warlock from perils through out the entire the game, they have paid for them selves several times over? Of course there worth it, not only do they save warlocks from box cars but they also change that 80% pass rate in 96% or something, much more reliable. Add in farseers having a near 100% chance of success on fortune its worth its points more then ever.

On the list you should drop nightshields on venoms, 'cause they will be operating with the council, who will be close enough for nightshields to not make a difference. That gives you some pts to play with so you can get either a wind rider unit to reserve and objective grab, or rangers to objective camp. if you have pts left put them into the warriors for either a blaster or 2 shredders (I like them, screw the logic!)

OK, I guess I hadn't considered the effect of trophies on allied Eldar. They really shouldn't work on Eldar, from a fluff perspective.
For only 5 points, I guess they could be worth it if you run a lot of warlocks and farseers. But the 6" range still limits their usefulness.

What about a wraithknight instead of the spiders?

What is the reason for all the warlocks on bikes? seems rather expensive when regular jetbikes cost less and are just as effective, you can even add a single warlock if you want.

I'd still try to take the Splinter Cannons if you can, IMO they are worth every point.

I prefere Holo fields over Ghostwalk any day. You'll occasionally roll a one when going through terrain, but not enough to make them worth taking.

It's a jetbike seer council thats the whole idea . So people still agree that the spiders are better than a knight ?
