will you guys be using both terrain layouts, or just the standard one?

I think the plan right now is to stick with the terrain layout that we've used in years past, which is basically the standard NOVA terrain setup. However, most of our centerpieces do not block line of sight as completely as the pieces at NOVA, so it's a bit more difficult to game the layout.

Dannys correct. We will be sticking with the standard terrain setup. Our center pieces vary and you will generally see 4 types of middle terrain.

- Tiered hill: providing: LOS blocking,4+ ridgeline and 5+ Area Terrain
- Ruin: providing: limited LOS blocking and 4+ ruin and 5+ Area Terrain
- Nova Style center piece: providing: LOS blocking. 4+ 5+
- Forest: providing: Very limited LOS blocking however full 5+ regardless of % obscured when shooting through it. plus 5+ Area Terrain cover.

This is what you will see at the BFS GT all of the pieces are "generally" 1'x1' in size. A few are slightly bigger

After speaking with a number of players from recent GT's we are going to provide a 3 hour per round Tournament. The extra 1/2 hour seems to make a huge difference in completing games in a timely manner and making for a more enjoyable- less rushed atmosphere.

This'll be my first East Coast tournament (since I just moved out here). I went to almost every one on the west coast Reece and co. ran over the past year and a half. Hoping it will be just as good as those, but from the looks of it, it will be.

The motel across the street from the mall is cheap, cheap. Stayed there one year and it wasn't bad at all. Might be worth your while to at least stay there Sat night to save yourself 7-odd hours of driving. When you figure in the gas money it's even cheaper.

For folks staying over on Saturday night, I was considering seeing if we could get reservations at the Comedy Club in the mall there.

Saturday night's 9:30 show is Shawn and Marlon Wayans. Ticket prices are $40, and if I read it right there's a two drink/item minimum.

Details are here: http://levitylive.com/show.cfm?id=261641&cart

PM me here or email rodaacwgc AT gmail DOT com if you're interested...I'm hoping we'll have enough interest that we might get a block reduced rate or a free drink or something!

That is fantastic, I know alot of the players I have spoken too were saying the same thing about rounds being too short.

I just picked up my ticket, looking forward to seeing everyone there!

NY Comiccon is the same weekend! I was originally going Sunday but I was able to shift my schedule so I can go there Friday instead so I can make it back to BFS!

Will you guys be using the NOVA paint rubric or your own?

You're quoting the DRAFT FAQ, per the actual link title. That was an error corrected, not used at NOVA, etc.

Is the more up to date one I believe

Will fix dated link on site

We'll be revising / adding SM based on discussion and decision of BFS and 11th Co staff for their upcoming events.
