Wondering Why the Emperor Left

Hi, here's my first Eldar list. I'll share my thoughts on why I've picked certain things after I show you guys the list. This is what I've bought so far and for fairly cheap so I'm trying to make the best of what I have. I have an idea of what I want to add to take it to 1500pts but I'll wait and see what people say first. Here goes:

Farseer - 100pts

Warlock Council - 6 Warlocks*, 3 Singing Spears - 225pts

Guardian Defenders - Scatter Laser, 10 Guardians, Warlock attached* - 110pts

Guardian Defenders - Scatter Laser, 10 Guardians, Warlock attached* - 110pts

War Walker Squadron - 3 x Scatter Lasers, 3 x Missile Launchers - 230pts

Vyper Jetbikes - Eldar Missile Launchers - 195pts

I have rough 30pts left over too.

My main thoughts are to use the Farseer and 4 Warlocks to cast a lot of Blessings and Maledictions from the centre of my lines and I've picked a lot of firepower, hopefully with lots of re-rolls to boot, to do a lot of damage.

I've picked Missile Launchers as I play a lot of DE and Necrons so hopefully re-rolls on AP 4 blasts as well as Str 8 single shots for Raiders and anything that isn't a Monolith.

At the moment I'm contemplating dropping the Singing Spears and a warlock for a cheap unit to bolster feet on the ground. I have a few ideas for what to add for 500pts but I'll wait and see what you think.

Any and all Criticism is welcome,

Regards,

those warlocks and farseer will die way way to easy left on the ground to foot uit across, i recomend dropping 4 warlocks, leaving 2 for each gardian squads, and attach far seer to one. Also drop the EMLs. They are so so expesnive. better to have war walkers have scatters and starcannons, for anti meq and light vehicles, and give vypers BLs tro hunt for there tanks. more effective, and most importantly, Cheaper then with all of the points left over from that, get maybe another gardian or DA squad. or a fire prsim.

I do drugs.
Mostly Plastic Crack, but I do dabble in Cardboard Cocaine.

Thanks, the next units I've gone for more guardians, fire dragons in a serpent and a fire prism.

I'll take your advice about the EMLs, the main reason I put them in is due to a lot of upcoming scraps with necrons. Plus they give me the chance of Flakk for AA.

Fire dragons I have to hand along with fuegan but I don't know about the character yet. Ive quite taken to maybe get either a squad of Howling Banshees in another serpent or some swooping hawks.

Fire Prism would do nicely or Wave Serpents for speed and general grossness.

Footdar requires a large, large amount of models (think nearly IG) to have a "foothold" on the table.

If the bros stay on foot, an Aegies Defense Line would also be cool with an Icarus Lascannon. The Lascannon + Farseer + Guide = GOOD TIMES.

Because a Twin-linked weapon needs re-rolls?

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

The popgun is twinlinked. The Icarus Lascannon is not.

Sorry you're right. Was thinking the Lascannon on the FoR.
