The Wolf Lord & TWC go across the board and wreck stuff … The only reason the Wolftooth Necklace is on the Wolf Lord is I had 10 points leftover … nothing else fit better.

The Wolf Guard are kitted out with combi-flamers / a heavy flamer (they all have power axes) and drop pod putting as many wounds on a deathstar as possible or ruining a unspaced unit / horde’s day – I don’t think many people will expect a mass flamer pod.

The Melta Hunters pod in and Crack Armor – Between the Melta Hunters and Wolf Guard Drop Podding in & the Lord with TWC coming up the field Target Priority should be annoying for my opponent.

The Plasma Hunters sit on objectives or foot slog up the field.

Missile Fangs provide support and the Lascannons can split fire for targets if needed.

There are not any serious air problems in my local meta so I can largely ignore it – if SW had flakk I would add flak on one model and split fire one missile launcher per unit of long fangs for fliers.

Thoughts or C&C ?

On the whole, this looks good, the pods draw fire from the TWC and cause more threats. The only thing I would suggest is splitting the 5 TWC into a group of 2 with a WL and 3 on their own, for more diversity, target saturation and survivability.

I would change the th of the w lord to power fist because is basicly the same and give him 2 fenrisan wolves for more wounds

"Listen closely Brothers, for my life's breath is all but spent. There shall come a time far from now when our Chapter itself is dying, even as I am now dying, and our foes shall gather to destroy us. Then my children, I shall listen for your call in whatever realm of death holds me, and come I shall, no matter what the laws of life and death forbid. At the end I will be there. For the final battle. For the Wolftime."Leman Russ

The only reason to keep the TH is that it will drop the enemy to I1 if they survive, meaning that you at least have a chance take them with you if they kill you next turn, rather than being cut down before you can swing. Also, missed this the first time, but swap the Saga to The Bear, EW is almost mandatory on TW lords as otherwise even a lucky force weapon hit will take him out.

Lascannons are too expensive for long fangs and you aren't using a rune priest to make that massive upgrade worth it.

At most, get Plasma Cannons in the squad.

Make one of your drop hunters be equipped with melta guns for melta funs... that way you can use that as your anti AV14 issuance versus hoping for 6s with lascannons that cost loads.

You want saga of the bear on your lord and the wolf tail talisman is far better as a 5+ Deny the Witch is going to come in handy with how prevalent psykers are becoming.

I almost suggest getting either a skyshield for your Fangs be dropping a grey squad and putting the other in Rhinos. Your list looks like it's in the theme of "Screw flyers," but you're one chaos player away from being baked off the table. Sadly, Space Wolves still blow because we don't have any dedicated AA.
