Could someone tell me what they know of the closeness in relations to other chapters paticuarly the first founding chapters such as space wolves,blood angels etc. Thanks

As I understand it the Fists do not seem to have any great emnitity towards any of the other major Chapters and would treat them as honoured Battle Brothers?

They keep close ties with those chapters that are descended from Imperial Fists. They'll hold a competition called the "feast of blades" exclusive to descendants of the Imperial Fists.

Evidently they have no idea who the Bluhd Rehvans are.

They stood against Horus on Terra. There's probably no loyalist Chapter that wouldn't consider it an honor to stand with the IF against any threat. No idea if the fists have problems with anyone as they don't spend words needlessly. I'd guess they'd look with pity upon any Chapter that isn't as stoic as they are?

The Fists keep close ties with their successor chapters, holding the sword competition with them every century. The Fists are the second most vital chapter to the Imperium after the Ultramarines. They have a stable geneseed, they were instrumental in the defense of Terra, and in the fallout from the Heresy, they were one of the few Legions still at effective fighting strength. After their near shooting war with the Ultramarines, the Fists finally concluded that the Codex was the better course, and helped usher in the Chapter based organization that the Astartes use to this day.

While the Fists have an extremely stable geneseed, it is still fundamentally flawed. Fists don't grow Sus-an membranes or Betcher's Glands, and Ian Watson paints them as a pretty culturally deviant bunch.

However, I'd imagine that the Fists maintain an excellent working relationship with the Blood Angels, since both chapters stood against the tide at the walls of the palace, and both accompanied Big E when he teleported to the Vengeful Spirit.

There's not much in their Index Astartes article about relationships to individual Chapters, but perhaps this bit helps for a sort of general outline?

Wouldnt the really close ties to the Blood Angels also include the White Scars? Since at least according to the new dex the Scars bikes were roaring down the ramparts at full throttle to engage the enemy?

Tossing around the idea of allying a White Scars successor with my IF successor just wanna make sure they are ,fluff wise, a plausible combo

As pointed out the Fists are pretty good with most other chapters. There was a moment when they had issues with the Ultramarines just prior to the acceptance of the Astartes. Outside of that though, it doesn't seem like any Loyalist chapter would have issues with them.
