Hey mates, recently I have the purchased the new Marine book and I have already decided to run a Space Marine bike-themed list, especially with all of the upgrades given to Khan and the Space Marine Army in general. And since it it a lot easier to purchase the Dark Angel Ravenwing box-set since it is a lot cheaper in the long run and gives me a goo start to my list, I came up with a interesting idea I wanted to run by you guys. Now, I am a fan of Historical units being represented in general, and I have been considering attaching the Ravening banner on the back of the bike to represent the "banner" used by the Winged Hussar cavalry back in the day, the only problem I am having is what chapter to base them off of or what paint scheme would look good with that. Anyways, just looking for some advice and tips on what people think would look good with this idea, or even better, if anyone has seen something similar or runs an army like this, a visual would be nice. Appreciate the help mates.

Guess no one really plays with bikes then......

Not sure on which chapter to base your bikes on, but I did a quick google search and it seems the main colours for hussars are black, white, red and silver + a bit of gold. You may want to experiment with some spare miniatures or sprue to see what looks pleasing to your eyes - anything recommended to you may sound or look interesting but you may end up changing your mind/wish to alter it. Perhaps if you can work with those or your preferred colours and tease out a chapter symbol for yourself then you're set - if you don't lock yourself into an official chapter then you won't have any confusion using a different codex or supplement as you like.
