3x Obliterators - MoN 228

The one thing I am unsure of is the terminators. I love the models but I don't know if they will be entirely effective. I intend to loadout the Sorcerer into the Obliterators and the Lord into Terms. My choices are deepstriking or footslogging, in favor of footlsog due to deepstrike mishaps. I need a shooty bodyguard for the lord and can't think of an alternative.

It's a shame that you don't know who you are partnering with.

Deep striking is probably better than foot slogging into combat, because the adaptability of the Obliterators allows them to deal with the fact that they may scatter out of range.

Every time I run with Terminators, they end up dying miserably to rapid fire shots, that doesn't stop me from using them mind.

The terminator and obliterators give you good flexibility with being able to deep strike both if needs be; any partner will be thankful of that.

You don't have an airforce or anything with skyfire, wasting havocs on it isn't a great tactic. The CSM units are also a little naked if they have to slog across the board. If you have one I would opt for an ADL in place of some of the havocs and punting one of their autocannons into a CSM squad. Then you have the option of castling up behind it or give some of it over to your partner. If they bring an ADL then ace, you have 8 skyfire interceptor shots!

The havocs don't even have skyfire unless you equip them with missile turrets paired with flakk missiles

I will most likely footslog the obliterators with the sorcerer. Not sure about the Terminators though, Running the risk of anything vanishing or going back into reserve (especially being expensive in this size game) is detrimental.

I normally bring an ADL but there are hardly any flyers at all in my meta, I am usually the one who brings the most flyers. This is my reasoning behind bringing a pair of havocs compared to one squad +ADL.
