Subject: how to use pysker powers? a bit confused.

ok i play csm and i have access to a few sorcerors(pyskers).i have read the rule book and still dont quite get it. please help as i think they can be useful.
if i have a sorceror lvl 3 i have no marks of chaos. i can take from the telepathy, biomancy, and pyromancy tables.
now do i have to assign my mastery lvls at the begining of the game, i.e. 2 biomancy and 1 telepathy, or whatever, and then i can only use those powers as assigned,
or can i use any table i want depending on game play situation, i.e. biomancy when needed or pyromancy when appropriate.
i am a little confused as i have never played anyone who used them in a game but i think they could be fun.
thanks for any clarification

You roll before the game to see which powers your psyker knows.
You'll only have access to those 3 powers, and you'll have to choose the disciplines before deployement

To be more precise, during deployment for each game you roll for powers. When you roll for a power, each power is rolled for as follows: Choose an availalbe Discipline. Roll for a power. If you like it, make a note. If not you can swap it for the Primaris Power. If you have already taken the Primaris Power for a given Discipline, you cannot take it again. If you roll a power you already have, or you roll a power that costs more Warp Charges then your Mastery Level (such as a Warp Charge 2 power, for a Mastery Level 1 Psyker), roll again until you get a legal power.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

ok so during deployment i would choose biomancy for example and roll a d6. whatever the number is, that is the only power i can use the whole game? then i can pick another power from biomancy for example and i dont want it so i have to pick the primaris power?
and those are the only 2 powers i can use from that psyker table?

A lvl 3 psycher gets 3 powers. You roll for each one on the discipline table of your choice. If you don't want the power you roll you can swap for the Primus Power from the same table. You can't swap for one you already have though so if you have already taken the Primus Power for the table you are rolling on you will be stuck with the d6 result. If you roll a power you already have you are required to roll again on the same table.
Once you have determined the 3 powers in this manner those are the three powers you will have available for the game.

ok i think i get it, so at deployment you have to say "im taking 2 powwers from telepathy and 1 biomancy" then you roll on the telepathy table twice and the biomancy table once and those are the only powers you can use, correct?
and say one of the powers give you +1 strenght for example do you get it for the rest of the game or until the end of the turn?

You do not have to declare what table you are rolling on until you roll for that power.
So for example, you say you are rolling on Biomancy. You get Iron Arm (best Biomancy power ever). When you go to roll your second power, you can decide to roll on Biomancy again, or you can roll on Telepathy.
