The khorne heralds obviously ride with the flesh hounds and take either the ether blade or the axe of khorne. The herald of tzeentch takes the portal to drop backfield and then advances with a unit of horrors, providing prescience where required. The grinders find somewhere comfortable to get a cover save and bombard from afar.

My main concern would be AV13/14, where I may have to DS my grinders to help with that. There isn't a huge amount of AA in the list, but the grinders will help a bit, and even the horrors in a pinch.

Any thoughts?

This time the tzeentch herald rides with the screamers to give them prescience so they can help with armour. The grinders are tzeentch marked to DS safely off the horrors' icons. I could give them the mark of slaanesh and run them up the board (drop the icons) for the same points, but I think this would just get them killed all the sooner... Thoughts?

You kind of want a grimoire to try and get a 3++ on the hounds to make them more durable.

I've actually made a point of steering away from the grimoire in this list! Three reasons for this: 1) I don't really have a durable carrier (ie prince or GD), 2) I can only protect one unit at a time and I'd overwhelm my opponent with threats than create a single deathstar, and 3) without Fateweaver to make it work I'm just not 100% sure the grimoire is worth the risk! I'll be using it on Monday in an entirely different list mind you (still without Fateweaver though) so that may change my mind!

You don't need a "durable carrier". You just need to bury him. I always, ALWAYS try to put the Grimoire on a Herald that's buried inside a unit that's going to be resilient. Herald of Khorne on Jugger in a large unit of Hounds or a Herald of Tzeentch in a big unit of Screamers or Pink horrors, does the job 10 times more than a GD, and frees the GD up for the better Greater Rewards.
