Subject: Wishlist/What If: Blood Ravens Supplement?

I've been thinking, after seeing lots of threads asking for advise about using Blood Ravens with the new SM codex, what if GW tried a Blood Ravens supplement? There are plenty of people (including myself) who credit the DoW franchise for introducing the WH40k hobby to them. In terms of how easily they could make a supplement: they are a sorta niche army, they have a big conflict(s) that the supplement can focus on, and they can provide more opportunities to expound on the fluff and background on them, as well as giving special rules for a psyker laden army that isn't GK. Not so far-fetched is it not?

I'd buy it just to get an insider's look into the vast amounts of nerd rage that would surely ensue over giving the Blood Ravens a Supplement.

I hope it's an "Unknown Founding" supplement because it would include the Blood Raves, but I would love to read more fluff on the Death Specters also.

I support this.
It would be great to get some official rules for Blood Ravens.

I'd like a Blood Ravens supplement just so I could have more fluff about them. I love the Blood Ravens' color scheme, and I've enjoyed playing the chapter in all the Dawn of War games, and seeing them show up in Space Marine (with reference to the Aurelian Crusade from DoWII) was cool.
As for actual rules they'd get? I can't picture much aside from some stupid Boreale/Dawn of Awesome jokes that I'd usually make in this sort of thread. They could have Lord Librarians or something like that, with some kind of 3 wound combat Librarians, but they don't really get much else in the realm of unique units or formations. After all, they represent "Space Marines" as a whole in the Dawn of War games, so they don't tend to have much different from standard Marines going on.

If you saw a Steel Rain special rule and a Kleptomania related warlord table trait, what would be your response?

I'd make another stupid cartoon about it. The thing is, Steel Rain isn't even anything special - Drop Pod Assault is pretty much all you'd want for that. As for kleptomania, well, that's one of the arguments for giving them a different chapter tactics every game

In the background they apparently have Librarian squads like apocalypse, as well as psyker squads lead by a "Leader" librarian over newer initiate librarians due to the amount they have, not to mention at times they actually do replace their squad sarge with psykers.
Course that might not prove normal anymore, what with that being before dawn of war 2 and soulstorms canonization.
