Ok, So I got a guy who plays stupidly competitive lists against fluffy list makers such as myself and a lot of other guys who don't do tournaments.
Now I have no real problem because when I play I aim to have fun and if i win then all the better, but this guy is the really angry kind of player. He started yelling at another player just because he wasn't screaming his warlord traits to him although he was telling the player directly opposing him on the table everything. Just as well, he picked up necrons only after I made his chaos troops my (I creamed him with Grey knights and the next day he sold them to get necrons after everyone told him they were the most powerful codex this edition). Also every time I play he has this extreme hatred of my army and does nothing but belittles it. He goes on and on about how my army sucks and how anyone can cream me. In Free for all matches where the Eldar are the biggest threat, He deep strikes his entire terminator force at me and lets the Eldar skip happily away with the objectives while I leave him alone.

So, in order to put the hurt on this guy, I gotta know:

What kind of lists should i run against Necrons with lots of warriors and lots of flyers with those Tesla weapons?

What kind of Lists should I be running when fighting the Nidzilla lists from the Tyranids?

Also, what should I use against Eldar?

Am I list catering? Yes. Is it bad form? Someone told me yes. Do I care? Not anymore as this guy only plays to win, not have fun (or at least from what I have experienced with him in larger games.

He always runs Nidzilla with a mommaGaunt or two, a couple squads of Genestealers, The doom of malenchie (whatever it's called) in a spore pod, Mawlocks/tygrons, Carnifexs (usually a Tervigon is in there, Hivetyrants, and a swarmlord with tyrant guards and the bonsaber that make me re-roll successful invul saves. He also runs a few other things but I can't remember all their names.

As for the necrons, he runs lots of warriors to take out vehicles with dice hammers, Necron lords for that 4+ get back up orb, up to 2 monoliths, Immortals in a Doomscythe, and another Scythe flyer or whatever. As well as running the reserve guy where if mine come in he can bring ALL of his reserves in.

Now the Eldar:

Typically it's his wife with them but the list consists of:

Up to 2-4 Full dire avenger squads, usually a banshee squad, 2 WRAITHKNIGHTS with suncannons, scattershields, and scatterlasers for the twin link effect. Up to maybe 2 wave serpents, Avatar of Khaine, Fugen, Wraithlord, Wraithblades, and a full squad of Fire Dragons in a transport.
I mean dear god, he's 1 wraithknight away from an Apoc formation.

So, what have you guys got for me? I run Grey knights and want to run black templar as my allies so I feel fluffy when I play AND I can mess with the new toys the Spezz mehrines got.
Right as of this moment my army (not list, this is just my armory) consists of:
Land Raider
Inquisitorial Chimera
Rhino/Razorback
X7 paladins (2 hammers, a halberd, 2 swords, phycannon, apothecary and a banner)
A grandmaster with a Halberd (Sometimes with OSR)
Techmarine with Halberd, stormbolter (I give him OSR for fun sometimes)
10 purifiers/strike squad grey knights
Castellan Crowe
Coteaz
Stormraven
3 Dreadnoughts/Venerables

Space marines/Black Templar

1 captain
1 commander/grandmaster with whatever weapon I can give him
only up to maybe 2 smaller squads of space marines (underpowered due to trades for armor and tanks...I like tanks)
only 1 terminator (needs reinforcements)

I have in the works:
2 land Raiders
a bunch of space marines
at least up to 2 small squads of purifiers/ strike squads
enough to fill up my Paladin squad
A custom Mordrak and Ghost knights
5 more Paladins with Halberds and maybe some hammers
An entire Black Templar army with the trimmings, Land Raider, predator, sword brethren, champion...you know everything.
Sorry if this was a lot of take in.

What army are you playing and what army are you expect him to play?

Will you have a mix of GK/BT vs a mix of Eldar, Nid and Necron?
Tyranids cant even ally with them...

If I was about to play someone like that, I would do a cheesy army as possible. Put all eggs in one basket and hope to just rub it in his face.

I play just grey knights, but I hope to shove in some new Space marine toys.

I expect him to play necrons. With LOTS of tesla.

If he does eldar I expect Wraithknights with suncannons (2 to be exact) and avatar of Khaine as his warlord with lots of scatterlasers.

as for the tyranids: lots of monsterous creatures. Almost nothing but that.

As for the allies thing, we don't really play the "you can't ally thing" because some people can't play ally games due to them having tyranids. (although I will never team up with a chaos player). It's just the way the guys out here play. We are serious but not that serious. we keep the allies matrix for certain games or for more competitive play.

I just wanna know what kinda cheese I need to run to slap him in the face.

Jeebus, what size games are you playing? Wraithknights and the two HQ alone are well over 1k points.

We usualy play from 1500, 1850, 1999+1, 2000, and for saturdays we will sometimes get up to 6 people and play 3K a person.
and surprsingly wraithknights (he tells me) are only around 200-ish points.

Ok i can tell on the nids list, with a balanced GK list it should not be too much of an issue.
Grey Knights might be one of the best counters to that.

I recently played a list close to his with my GK (he had 3 tervigons, 3 trygons, swarmlord, a flying tyrant and some gaunts/genesteelers).
I used 2 full units of GKSS, one unit of purifiers, 2 DK with teleporters, Coteaz, one dreadnought and some plasma acolytes in chimeras.

He cannot tp close to you (because of the GKSS and Coteaz) so that should ruin his trygons/pods/Mawlocks and he will have to footslog everything.
The DKs with teleporter, heavy incinerator and sword can make short work of any MC (except the swarmlord).
Your GKSS or purifiers can easily handle the MCs as well as you will attack first (psy grenades) and have force weapons.

For the necrons i cant say much.

For the eldars i would say that you need to handle their mobility and their Wraithknights. Dks with teleporters can probably help quite a lot again.
For all those who are not in wave serpent (if he only fields 2), interceptors are are great (with some incinerators again)
