Might I suggest placing the Stormclad on Nemo himself? pNemo has the ability to allocate up to 5 focus to one of his 'Jacks. Most of the time, you will not use this ability, but it is extremely useful when it is needed, so you want your heavy hitter to be able to benefit.
Also, drop the charger- the Journeyman can't run him that effectively, and you'd be better off shifting the Hunter to the Jr.'s battlegroup. this will leave you 4 points to spend on other stuff- such as Stormgunners or Solos.

Fair enough, I put the hunter there so he can get focus 32" awat from my caster though, would that not be more useful, being able to get focus pretty much where you are, or have I forgotten something
For example, do I need LOS for focus, my friend "borrowed" my rulebook so I can't look it up

You simply will not need to be 32" away from your caster enough- besides, the Journeyman allows you to stand an infinite distance from Nemo  . Putting the Hunter on the Journeyman simply leaves Nemo with more focus to play with.

Grab a pair of Storm Gunners and Arlan Strangeways- the gunners give you a couple extra Stormblades, while Arlan can repair 'jacks, give out focus, or make a 'Jack immune to free strikes.

What about stormcallers, If I get one storm-gunner I can get 1 stormcaller, would it be useful, or should I just get two storm-gunners.

Stormcallers can be useful, but with only one (or even two) you are really limited to disrupting jacks and popping stealthed models.

This is my list I've decided on for 35pts
Now I want to raise it to 50pts, and this time I will use mercs, but only merc solo's. My thoughts so far was to add a Thunderhead, another stormgunner and Lanyssa Ryssyll as another magic user to fuel pNemo's arcane accumulator and provide some support with her spells

Remember that you'll get power tokens from Arlan and your Jr. I do enjoy running pNemo with Thunderhead, and I'd highly recommend getting a squire and another lancer for your list.

But I would only get one power token from the Jr. all game unless his jack die's as you don't get power tokens from upkeeping spells I believe, and one from Arlan, so I think another solo to provide power tokens would be useful, and Lanyssa's effects are useful for increasing focus efficiency (her free charge spell) and picking off damn stealth solo's

That stormclad really needs to be on nemo imo. Also for merc solos you can never go wrong with gorman and epic eiryss
