I went out and bought way too many models the other day, and this is my list with new models

HQ: 160
Aun'va
Cadre fireblade

Troops: 313
11 fire warriors
8 fire warriors
8 fire warriors
10 kroot w/ sniper rounds

Elites: 580
Riptide with ion accelorator, SMS, EWO, velocity tracker
Riptide with HBC, SMS, EWO
Riptide with HBC, SMS, EWO

Fast attack: 132
6 pathfinders
6 pathfinders

Heavy: 469
Long strike Hammerhead, railgun, SMS
Skyray, SMS, BSF
2 broadsides, HYMP, SMS, each have a seeker missile, 1 has velocity tracker and 1 has target lock

Fortication: 100
ADL with quad

I love Aun'va for his LD buffs, also I have one of his guards work the quad gun
I keep most of my squads very tight together behind the ADL for lots of support fire
Broadsides are kitted so if I need to shoot a flier the other one can shoot at a different target
Cadre obviously goes with the largest fire warrior squad

Spitballing:

Aun'Va is too expensive for what he is and will die easily to stuff like Necrons Tesla weaponry (24" S7 with no AP? Peace out, bro). In theory, Space Pope, Aun'Va™ is the gak. In application, he is gak.

I would ditch the velocity trackers and the hammerhead, get a second sky ray, beef up the broadsides, and give riptides fusion blasters.

I would NOT try to clump up behind an ADL. Thunderfire cannons (from my understanding) are now barrage weapons. And they are dirt cheap. They will shred your poor little dudes.

Lol, I should have mentioned, I will be playing this list primarily against space marines, tyranids, orks. And maybe eldar
I've used fusion blasters on my riptide a before but the only problem with them is, I don't like my riptides gettin that close
Also, I've never not taken Aun'va, I usually just find a nice little hiding place for him and he's always done what I've wanted him too, although you are correct, he can be killed very easily.
I ran a list similar to this but with an ally of eldar
Just a farseer and some rangers
The farseer rolled on divination and that worked wonders with my tau, will prob take them again in some fun games

Ok so I just found out about a 1750 tourney coming up in 2 weeks
Paint is not required so that's good for me

A couple things I'm considering for this list to be more competitive

Aun'va? I'm starting to question the 100p
ADL in this list? Is it worth it? Maybe better spent somewhere else
Riptides,
Maybe 2 ions instead of 2 heavy burst

And I have a friend bringing CSM/necron list with 5+ flyers
So maybe I'm lacking in skyfire abilities?

Not sure need help,
I also have eldar I could take as an ally,
I took a farseer in a friendly game and his psychic powers work wonders, I rolled on divination

Toss both. An ethereal is far better for points and the buffage.

Redistribute the FWs to make it 3 units of 9. At 8 guys, two dead causes morale, but it takes three dead to cause morale when you start at 9 guys. I advise against spreading them out, like the previous poster recommend (unless there are ThunderFire Cans). Support Fire is a wonderful tool, so be sure to exploit it.

Not the BCs. Go for the AP2 toys as your PathFinders are going to give the Riptides Ignores Cover with the MarkerL help.

Good. These are what I use.

No comment on the tanks, except why no DisPods?

Why have one use SeekerMs, when for two more points each you can get Missile Drones? That's two add'l Wounds, JSJ models, and 4x the STR7 shots?

I like the Icarus as the higher STR and AP2 seems to grant a higher likelihood of a Pen, and a Penetrating Result that will kill the Flyer.

If it's Love, then go for it.

I wouldn't bother with the Target Lock ... I run 3 MissileSides and that volume fire is needed to whack fliers with certainty, IMHO.

Feh. I'd simply want more bodies on the table.
