So a few weeks back the wife was nice enough to take the kids to my parents and leave me in the house alone for the weekend. Some friends and I decided to take advantage of this and hold a small 6 man tournament at my house. Most of us have crazy work schedules and families so this was a great opportunity.

The tournament was a simple 3 round pitched battle setup. 8 points for a win, 5 points for a tie, and 3 points for a loss. Each round players could get bonus points, 1 for killing the general, 1 for killing BSB, and 1 for killing any type of magic caster/priest. The last round a player could get 2 more points for capturing the crown in the middle of the board.

For armies we had:
Empire (mine)
High Elves
Ogres
Dogs of War
Daemons
Warriors of Chaos

To spice things up I decided that we needed something to play for.
The prize, each person brought an extra 6 pack, so that was 36 beers to the winner
Don't worry there was still plenty to drink during the game.

Also for the last round, when I said we got a bonus for capturing the crown I meant it. Each table had one.

Here are some pics from the last 2 rounds. I forgot to take any of the 1st.

I don't remember all of the details, but the rounds went like this:
Round 1:
High Elves (10) vs Empire (4) = High Elf Win
Dogs of War (5) vs Daemons (11) = Daemons win
Ogres (3) vs Warriors (11) = Warriors win

Round 2:
Empire (11) vs Ogres (4) = Empire Win
Daemons (10) vs Warrirs (5) = Daemon win
High Elves (13) vs Dogs of War (4) = High Elves win

Round 3:
Empire (10) vs Warriors (4) = Empire win
Ogres (7) vs Dogs of War (7) = Tie
High Elves (13) vs Daemons (5) = High Elves win

Totals
High Elves-34
Daemons-26
Empire-25
Warriors-20
Dogs-15
Ogres-14

The High Elves beat the pants off of us and we had to watch all that beer drive away at the end of the night, but everyone had a great time. Hopefully we can get together and do it again because it was a blast.

Lastly this dog may look innocent but he is responsible for the death of 2 Chaos Knights of Khorn, look out for those tail attacks

Hop you all enjoy.

Best thing about this report was seeing your man cave. As someone who lives in a 1 bedroom basement flat I'm well jel. Love the lights you've got set up.

Thanks it has taken some time, but after a flood, some demo work, $10K, and some contractors it is starting to come together. Now I just need to keep it and not let the wife & kids take it over. The dog can stay though as long as he keep taking out chaos knights
