I am new to all this, so be gentle. I could not find this posted anywhere else. I saw this link

and am now hearing rumors that this might become an actual extension to WHFB, maybe rekindling Mordheim or just a skirmish game like Hobbit. The event was held June 2013 in Nottingham, but there was so much great reception, GW talkative employees have made the claim this might become a small booklet in the near future with more scenarios and special rules. Either way, enjoy the pdf and try it out at your local game spot!

Does anyone know more, or for sure, though?

This seems like a localized campaign that only occurred in specific areas similar to the 40k Genestealers vs Space Marines rules from a while back.

They are currently running Regiments Of Renown at Games Workshop Bowie (MD). I've already seen some interesting mini display boards for the small war-bands.
