From time to time, I've seen the occasional post quoting a well-known GW employee as having made a statement about whatever.

Some examples include:
-"Jes Goodwin said that he was working on plastic Sisters of Battle."
-"Jes Goodwin said that 3D printing will be incorporated into the company when the time comes."

I seem to remember that there were more alleged statements from GW employees, but my memory doesn't work in such a way that I can pull those memories out any time I want to.

My question isn't about the truth of any of these statements, but rather, all I want to know is,

Where do these quotes come from?

I honestly don't know. Is it a Facebook page? Twitter? Some random GW Blog post from the official site? Games Day interviews?

Because I've looked. Sorta. My Googlefu is not very strong. I often can't even find things that I've found before.

So someone, PLEASE, tell me where I can find the place where people are actually saying things.

Honestly, it's more-so because of frustration out of not knowing where any of this stuff comes from, rather than curiosity. Though I might bookmark it or something.

Jes is present on most UK Games Days (and a few others) plus sometimes does recorded interviews.

Here the first statement I found on Sororitas:
From Jes Goodwin's seminar at Games Day Australia 2012;
- No release date/info for Sisters, but they definitely aren’t canned and will be re-done properly.

http://www.wargamerau.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=140854
Was also said in some video and on other Games Days.

Not from Jes, but here's a quote about plastic SoBs. It came from Enter the Citadel. You might've seen this being referenced recently.

A couple of these ones got some further points. It was mentioned that originally there had been a technical problem with developing Sisters plastics, but that Games Workshop would now have the technology to be able to do them.

A lot of these quotes are originating from GW events like the above or the various Games Days. As for where they're reported, it's usually on rumour sites like Faeit or BoLS or just the blogs of people who attended, like the above.

Usually out in the real world. I think others have covered this though. Jes and others tend to show up at events and talk about things, including answering questions.

Matt Ward once told me that you shouldn't believe that a GW employee said something just because the statement begins with one of their names.

Does that make you the Space Marines' spiritual second cousin?

Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?

Doesn't the man call himself "Mat Ward"?

So we can't even believe Ailaros to begin with!

Probably work

One time Jes Goodwin said that he meant for Space Marines to be 10 feet tall, but he thought people wouldn't take them seriously.

GW has more than one Matthew/Matt/Mat so to keep it easy they spell Ward's name with one T to make distinction easier.

Wouldn't his surname be enough for that?

You'd think.

I would have sworn I've seen his name in print as "Mat Ward" more often that not as well...

Actually, the German White Dwarf sometimes spells him as Mat AND as Matt, sometimes in the same issue. Guess the one translator left is overworked or doesn't care.
