I tried using the search function, but couldn't find anything. How many of you out there scratch build warjacks or warbeasts? I am working on a menite one right now, and am looking for inspiration.

I've never seen a completely "scratch built" jack. There are plenty of Extreme conversions out there that I know of. I'd check out the PP forums.

I'm interested to see what you have when you are done. What jack type are you trying for?

Templar. I basically just evergreen plastic it, then add greenstuff to fill in the gaps.
I already checked the PP forums.

Scratch built jacks don't go down well around here.

All of our local WM/H players (and their pressgangers) follow the official tournament line of "no proxies, no scratchbuilds" and are otherwise, little clockwork robots.

If it (the mindset) keeps them out of other games, then too bad for them - but great for the rest of us.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

That's not what the steamroller packet says...... It's 50% or more of the model has to be PP, no bases from companies that make table top miniatures. The model has to be clearly identifiable as the model it represents, and the biggest part is the whole TO digression......

I mean round lipped bases have to be fine, don't they? Or am I gonna get disqualified for having a Wyrd logo underneath my bases?

Sorry for gaking on your thread, FoWPlayer Make sure you post some pictures of whatever you come up with. I've never seen a completely scratch built Warjack, so that'd be really cool.

It is fine. Right now, its shield arm is being added. I will take pictures when the thing is done but before detail. The legs and body are considered done and awaiting detailing.
