I used to be a big fan of Wazdakka in my Ork army, but due to my useless conversion skills I never managed a decent model. And when the orks got a big release, I was slightly peeved not to see Wazdakka, even though 3 SCs were released. So I thought "will they actually do a Wazdakka model, or Old Zogwort for that matter?" And the answer I got was "I don't know". Especially because the crons got all their characters done with 6-8 months of release.

Yet I know there will never be a Looted Wagon kit, it defeats the pont.

Hence I ask, are there any units or characters in your codex without a model, especially the older ones. And do you reckon they will get one?

I feel reasonably confident that following the Chapterhouse case, that GW will make sure that there is a model/kit for everything they have stats for, probably by the time a full codex cycle has been completed. That could be a misconception on my part, of course.

I dunno, if you have had stats of varying degrees but no model since the 1990's, you might be out of luck. At least there is the cool model of the Warboss on bike from Forgeworld if you are so inclined.

Zogwort doesnt have a model, its labeled a Weirdboy and that model is kinda messed up anyway. He has no wargear, yet the model has him with some kinda grot minion and a staff - wheres the rules for them?

Unless they renovate Zogwort, which i woudnt doubt honestly with the rumored Weirdboy overhaul, i doubt theyd make a model for him just because hes so worthless right now. Technically hes pretty scary in melee but he has orky initiative and no defenses, even a 5++ invuln so he dies before he does anything in a challenge.

Wazdakka kinda needs his own model. Not just because people cant kitbash to save their lives (ive seen some pretty stupid conversions for Rhino-sized bikes lol) but because he has a unique bike anyway it should be different.
Kinda wish they would allow his unit to turbo boost and still shoot, not just him. Never gets used since if hes on his own hes running away to another unit not charging the enemy, as he still cant charge after it.

Biggest thing i want is a damn Warboss with all the fixings kit. Using a normal warbiker as a warboss is just so....wrong...lol...and the Meganob boss is Ghazzy not his own thing.

Tyranid Prime, Parasite of Mortrex, Doom of Malan'tai, Harpies, Mycetic Spores, Tyranid Shrikes, Winged Rippers...

Only Daemon I can think of is Skarbrand. Granted he's really just a Bloodthirster without working wings, but the John Blanche art still show some wing form behind his body. And he's got two axes instead of an axe and whip. It would be cool to see a really battered Bloodthirster with two axes for a model.

There's no Kugath model either, but arguably one isn't needed since really he's just a grumpy GUO anyway.

Didn't the farsight book add a bunch of characters for which there are no models?

Whoops forgot about him. Maybe because he isn't nearly as useful.

But the description of him says he rides on a palanquin loaded with laboratory equipment. Imagine the work needed to convert that, geez.

Yes but the thing about Tau is unless its a specialist suit or has some kind of mark, you really cant tell anyway. Farsight himself is distinguished because he has a sword and shield for some reason, other than that hes identical to crisis suits. Shadowsun looks just like normal Stealth Suits when her helmet is on, but she has two weapons when normally they cant have two.

Im still waiting for October so i can get my hands on that damn supplement since i refuse to buy an ipad, but i imagine that Riptide character has nothing fancy about it other than better shooting and the IC rule (havnt heard anything else).

How I wish for a Vect or Baron, that would make my Christmas.

Puretide, mostly because he is dead, but hey... its not like GW never gone "back in time" to release dead characters.

I used to think this, but given how long its been I doubt that case made as big an impact as we hoped. Seems like GW essentially gave up before the final decision was rendered.

I'd love to get the missing DE models. Vect, baron, duke, kheradruakh, malys and even the bomber.

OK, that's weird... The Weirdboy model isn't what I was referring to. I was sure that a Zogwort model was released, but now I can't find a trace of it. Maybe senility is finally settling in...

Zoggy might have had one back eons ago, but doesnt even remotely look like the modern ork so they ditched it since hes unfavored to the point of nonexistence anyway lol

He's from Fantasy, but he makes a pretty good proxy Zogwort, and the sculpt is fairly recent i think...

Asdrubael Vect was released in 3rd edition, complete with Dais. I'm not sure if there was a standalone model released.

I really wish they would make a Valeria for the GK codex. Her backstory is pretty cool if you read all the fluff in the book.

I kinda like it when GW doesn't have an official model for a character. It allows people to make some awesome versions or conversions of how they perceive the character. I still would like to see a Vect model as hes a head honcho of the Black Hearts.

You may be thinking of Zodgrod Wortsnagga from 2nd ed.

Definitely not. Again, the model I was thinking of was fairly recent. All floaty, with snakes and stuff. But would seem to have had to be a conversion.
