Land Raider Pilot on Cruise Control

Ok, I play Hawk Lords but don't care about Fluff ATM. I need help making a 1250 point army. I'm wanting to use rhinos. Right now i have.....
Librarian
Captain w/ Power Sword
Jump Pack Chaplain
18x Bolter Marines
2x Plas Cans
2x Lascans
3x MLs
1x Multi Melta
2x Flamers
1x Devvy Sgt
2x Chainsword/Bolt Pistol Sgts
1x Chainsword/PP Sgt
4x Sniper Scouts
1x Missile Scout
I'm obviously not opposed top getting more models.

Yeah I have the codex but I've never been too good with the competitive side so I thought it would be best if people give me suggestions and I could build from that. If you want me to I can post the list. I'd also like to make it competitive.

Ah sorry forgot to come back to this.
Well to start. your going to want to take two troops and an HQ.
Probably take two 10 man squad. Kitted out for your local meta.(lots of vehicles = melta, hordes = flamer etc.)
as for HQ the hot thing right now seems to be the beat stick captain with ether the eternal warrior shield or the ap 2 sword at Initiative.
But if you want to be competitive (mind you the book just came out) Bikes with gravs might be the way to go. Or if your forgeworlding, Achilles land raider with tech marines and Iron hand chap tactics look very awesome.
Whats your meta like and whats your budget (also do they accept forgeworld?)

My meta is mostly MC's, Nurgle, and Vehicles. Not much Horde stuff. However, I want to use this list in a Tournament in Arlington VA soon...

Bikes should do ok than. there main weakness still being hell turkeys, and ignore cover tau.
Try to piece together a chap master with a shield eternal, artificer on a bike with a company command squad on bikes with full out grav weapons. (its a freakish amount of shots.)
buy your unlocked bike squad as troops, and perhaps add a tactical squad in a rhino to hold back field.
after that im unsure how many points would be left (dont have my book on hand)
Probably use white scars chap tactics for epic scout up 12 lulz.

Yeah, it's kinda lonely here, even though Desu does make good company. Will post up a 750,1250, and 1500 point list soon. Wait. They're painted as Hawk Lords so It says "If a detachment is from a successor chapter, you must adopt the Chapter Tactics of the First Founding Chapter from which that successor chapter descends" that means I have to play UM.
