Looks awesome. How fragile is the chain? I would be worried about it breaking but it looks great.

I have had 3lbs on it and it didn't budge. It's really sturdy.

Its a real chain with each link bonded together. I used powders to weather it.

I would treat the base as area terrain and the top is about 4-5 stories. Flyers can definitely land on it.

I have to finish the base and do a little more with the chain. I dont want to do a lot to the base and take away from the top.

Makes sense on height/usability. That is super cool. I love the idea.

I saw that first photo and thought "not bad but lame just a bit of cork with a mark on it." Scrolled down and . That is beyond impressive. I've seen welded/bonded chain as art pieces but never seen one use for terrain like that, really cool stuff.

Cant wait to see more. it looks really cool. what are you going to do too the top?

Also how did you bond the chains? (welded/solder epox?)

would love to see more demonic flames or ritual pieces on the top. Or something right out of DOW

Thanks a lot.

I am leaving the to relatively plain as there will be duels fought on top in a scenario I am running. I am going to put a simple finish on the bottom so it doesn't take away from the overall piece.

I ground the inside of the links so they fit together better. Then I used solder to hold them. I bonded them with alumni lite. That stuff dries fast and is super tough. Where the chain connects to the base, it is foam full of alumni lite and hen hot glued to the base.
