I have never used one before so I have to ask, if I have a model with a teleport homer in a transport at the start of a turn, can my terminators deep strike in? The dex just say model has to be on table at turn start...and he would be...just in the tank.

Oh to explain why this is in tactics. I have an idea to move a LRC forward with a teleport chapter master and honor guard inside...but as they get close to the enemy the termies teleport in. They can't charge but the land raider can move and they can run that turn to put them in cover from anything threatening until the next turn.

Yes, a transported beacon works, the 6" safe teleport zone is measured from the hull of the vehicle (so it does help expand the safe landing area).

Awesome. My biggest fear with deep strike isnt really the scatter, but leaving them in the open. This way I figure a 14 armor LOS blocking piece of cover would make the tactic more feasible. And as BTs they can reroll their run move to make sure they really get good cover.

i imagine it would do the same thing ork KFF does - essentially increases the range by however big the transport is, since its measured from the edge of the base and/or vehicle hull.

IIRC terminators are slow and purposeful aren't they?

Terminators are Relentless and cannot make sweeping advances but they are not slow and purposeful.
I will have to double check my book on that, but I have not played them as slow and purposeful since like 4th edition.

Actually that would make sense because last time I used terminators was about 4th edition. My apologies, I knew they couldn't Sweeping Advance and they were able to move and shoot and assault with heavy weapons so that's where the confusion came in

Relentless is the rule that allows you to move, fire, and charge the same turn with non-assault weapons. Terminators just have an additional rule in their armor classification that prevent sweeping advances, but they can run/do overwatch unlike SNP.
Only upside to SNP is its a unit-wide rule, Relentless is model-by-model. but the only IC i know of that is SNP is a Meganob Boss/Ghazzy, and i'd laugh if i saw one escorting some Lootas

Well, its cheaper than a Warboss atleast lol however he cant have a SAG or a KFF since both of those and the Mega Armor replace the Slugga. I imagine they did that purely because Mega Armor and SAG would be ... kinda broken rofl though i wish you could put a KFF on there. And it gives the Lootawagon another mek to fix it up! ...never actually done that before since my luck with ork vehicles are lousy. No idea why, KFF save is the same as Jink on my Tau vehicles and i run Tau vehicles all the time no problems, my ork ones always explode first shot and i never make the save
