I am looking in buying some new miniatures ( IG) and to update my brushes collection and paints as well, the thing is that the only reliable and cheap online shop ,which is wayland games, that i knew, will charge me with 25-30 pounds just for shipping!! It 's cheaper for me to buy from local retailers even though every single product is ridiculously overpriced...
I also know of wargamer.co. uk but i have read many review which made me question it's reliability and i am not quite fond of using it
More specifically i am looking for warhammer 40k,as well paints(vallejo),brushes, weathering powders etc etc
P.S I Am looking in buying vallejo brush cleaner and restorer...ti is any good(my brushes are at really bad shape as i have never cleaned them apart from diping into water,as also i didn't know tha getting paint up the metal thingy was bad for it as well.
Thank you for your time

My local independant stockist is setting up a webstore: www.vortexwargaming.com
as you can see, it is still under construction, but drop them a message, and say Claire sent you, im sure you will get a decent price.
For international, they are pricing postage per order at the moment, rather than a flat rate, to ensure its not hugely disproportionate.

The problem is that i don't have an local game store and the only local retailers are a chain of shops which hugely overprice their products..
Anyway do you know any other online shops in europe?

I'm in the US so I'm not sure how helpful it will be but:
I get most paints and modeling accessories from the Warstore (not sure what their UK shipping is). Almost all my paints are Valejo and they carry all of them.
I'm picky about my brushes so the Winsors and Raphaels usually come from Amazon or something.
Secret Weapon for pigments, accessories, and resin bases.
Dragonforge for resin bases.
Brush cleaners are easy to find at any art supply store, doesn't have to be a miniatures store.
Bits I get from ebay, now that the site retailers have been executed.

You should be able to- You might even find some smaller brushes, but the quality may not be as good. Most of the brushes I've ever got from hobby store chains have fallen apart.

I've always liked the Games Workshop brushes myself, and I also like the Games n' Gears brushes, but their site doesn't go up until the 18th(I got mine through the kickstarter). I'm pretty sure they're based in London, but I have no idea what their shipping rates will be.

Yes but it's normally over-priced.
EDIT: Only stuff I know to be over-priced is glaze medium/ thinner [not sure about brush cleaner.

Winsor and Newton, or Raphael brushes are right up there with the best. They aren't cheap, but if you plan on taking care of them it is worth it. Just shop around before you buy, depending on the store the prices can have a big range
