So my local store got some of the zvezda art of tactics kits in. Not overly interested in their game, but the models seem nice. How far our of scale are the vehicles with the the infantry though? Was thinking of picking a few up to have on hand, tank or two and some of the infantry. Grabbed two tanks yesterday in 1/100, but is it worth bothering with their 1/72 infantry or should I just go look at the plastic soldier company 1/100?

Id go with plastic soldier co infantry as 20mm infantry next to a 15mm tank is a bit out of scale.

Zvezda went with a board game approach, so they don't care that they're being inconsistent with scale. The best thing to do is pick either 1/72 or 15mm and go with it. I ended up going with 15mm, but I used to do 1/72 and think I might have been better off sticking with it.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better. |

There are plenty of 1/72 and 15mm kits out there, PSC, airfix, revell etc, so you should be able to find enough models for the scale that you prefer.
