I really like all the new Space Marine one click armies (although they are surely far from truly a one click army but hey).

I find the white scars as very good with a rhino (something every marine commander needs) and I have always liked bikes as well, but the Land Raider that comes with the Salamanders is really sweet as well.

What do you guys think? Which is the best from a all around view point (as in: best value points wise, money wise, and unit wise)

None of the one-click collections provide any saving on buying the models separately- they're there to save you time buying a nice themed set of units.

You're probably better off buying the models you want- when you buy a collection like that you're bound to end up with something you don't want.

If I were to recommend one though, it'd probably be either the White Scars or the Imperial Fists- both of them offer lots of useful units, though Dreadnoughts aren't too competitive at the moment. TH/SS Terminators always are, though!

Buy the Space Marine Strikeforce.

All the 1-clicks are around $300. The strikeforce is $225. This gives you about $75 to pick up whatever else suits your fancy.

But of the 1-clicks, I like the salamanders one the best. It looks vaguely playable. Not so sure on the other ones. The iron hands and white scars don't look that bad.

I'd say it is a toss up between salamanders and iron hands for the most viable 1 click bundle.

The issue with the white scars bundle is that khan is on foot.... you'd definitely want him on a bike so you kind of waste money there.

As others have said... "one-click" anything on GW's website is crappy, and just a terrible idea.

The "Strike-Force" however is not a web-exclusive, gets you a good volume of utility, and bitz, and at online retailers, totals about 40% off MSRP. One of those is probably the best thing you could buy right now. Also, if you don't care about specific aesthetics, the starter sets, Vengence, or, if you can find it "Assault on Black Reach" also have a bunch of cool Space Marine options for a dramatically reduced price. You can buy Vengence, for about $85 online from retailers, and you'll get $100 worth of Space Marines, while being able to sell off the Chaos half of the box (or Orks in the case of the other starter), and virtually recoup your investment.
