I reccently bought numbers 338 and 334 from the Vallejo panzer aces range, and need to know what colours they correspond to in their normal model colour range. I bought them thinking they were the same as the model colours of the same name, but after looking a them I really think they aren't, and I need to get my FOW stuff painted soon...I bought them nearly a year ago.

I can't help you with details about the Panzer Aces range specifically, but from what I know the Model Colour series is the only one Vallejo does that's meant to leave a satin finish. Most of their other stuff is geared towards the matte finish you want on world war 2 miniatures and similar.

I really need to stay away from the 40K forums.

Well the video guide for the open fire boxset is really good, and I'm not sure if either of my valleyo paints are anywhere near german field grey (even though one is called german feldgrau and the other is a highlight foir said grey)

Panzer aces are exclusive colours and mixes to the PA range. There are no direct equivalents.
PA are a bit harder to get hold of but the ones I have were definitely worth the effort.
