The site is not dead and the forum page that the site links to is for a local club (The Wakefield Warriors), trying to get people to use that forum is really hard work.
We are a really small company that has been trading for almost a full year. We were originally set up by the Wakefield club as a way of getting cheaper products for our members. A by product of that was we that found ourselves with a webstore.
Our web presence is admittedly a little on the "skimpy" size but that is because we don't employ people to design our web presence or promote the page (we don't even pay ourselves yet).
So that is how we offer 20% discount on everything we can.
I must admit we have got a few orders wrong but these have been sorted out very quickly and all I can say is that we have many customers who keep coming back to us. They like the fact that we get back to them really quickly if there is an issue with an order and we don't leave them hanging for two weeks and then cancel that order.
Due to Games Workshops latest retailer rules we now have a shop based in Wakefield too
http://www.thegamespit.co.uk. Technically the two businesses are separate and we can't sell the shop stuff online. The residential address is basically where my business partner lives...we used this address as until recently we didn't have a permanent bricks and mortar site.
Unfortunately we can't sell Games Workshop Stuff outside of the
EU as much as we would like too.
We are NOT out to con anyone out of their hard earned cash, we have setup trading online via Paypal and for this you need to have a bank account and everything has to get verified to make sure you are who you say you are.
If you want to give us a call please feel free to do so using the number on the site (either of them).
Sorry for any delay getting back to you, things are a bit bonkers at the moment as we are moving to bigger premises (we must be doing something right !)
Regards
Steve
Thanks
