Discovered this site a few weeks:

http://www.wwwargaming.co.uk/

All the prices for GW stuff are 20% reduced but I can't find any reviews or anyone praising it for its reliability. There is a forum on the site but its as dead as a door nail with not even a single post on there. I also emailed a question about postage and packaging but got no response yet(though granted the answer ultimately turned out to be easy to find out).

Anyway the prices look really good but I was hoping to find a find one or two to vouch for its reliability first. So is anyone actually familar with this site?

Its not a name I've ever come across. I would try ringing them, they might be a new company. If you do decide to buy from them just use a CC so you are covered.

The map shows a residential area for the address given on their contact page. I'd consider that suspect.

Well, tweets and FB look to have died off, last updated in July.

The club that runs this store is here:
http://thewakefieldwarriorsgamesclub.blogspot.co.uk/
They're more active. PM them or email someone on this if you cannot get any updates of the site.

The site is not dead and the forum page that the site links to is for a local club (The Wakefield Warriors), trying to get people to use that forum is really hard work.

We are a really small company that has been trading for almost a full year. We were originally set up by the Wakefield club as a way of getting cheaper products for our members. A by product of that was we that found ourselves with a webstore.

Our web presence is admittedly a little on the "skimpy" size but that is because we don't employ people to design our web presence or promote the page (we don't even pay ourselves yet).

So that is how we offer 20% discount on everything we can.

I must admit we have got a few orders wrong but these have been sorted out very quickly and all I can say is that we have many customers who keep coming back to us. They like the fact that we get back to them really quickly if there is an issue with an order and we don't leave them hanging for two weeks and then cancel that order.

Due to Games Workshops latest retailer rules we now have a shop based in Wakefield too http://www.thegamespit.co.uk. Technically the two businesses are separate and we can't sell the shop stuff online. The residential address is basically where my business partner lives...we used this address as until recently we didn't have a permanent bricks and mortar site.

Unfortunately we can't sell Games Workshop Stuff outside of the EU as much as we would like too.

We are NOT out to con anyone out of their hard earned cash, we have setup trading online via Paypal and for this you need to have a bank account and everything has to get verified to make sure you are who you say you are.

If you want to give us a call please feel free to do so using the number on the site (either of them).

Sorry for any delay getting back to you, things are a bit bonkers at the moment as we are moving to bigger premises (we must be doing something right !)

Regards

Steve

Thanks

Steve, thanks for jumping on here to explain the situation.
Knowing about the b&m shop is good, as there's another way to contact you if a web-user needed to. It might be worth mentioning that in the Contact Us section of the WWW site.

Lots of us have had difficulty ordering online, what with stores closing, the fiasco with Maelstrom last year, etc.

Good luck with the new premises.
