This list is for a no comp score tourney I have in about a months time.
-The blob sits up front and either gets killed or plays a defensive combat game and works as a speed bump for fast stuff to protect my killer stuff in the rear. I'm not phased if they have gone to ground the entire game as there main duty is to speed bump things and tie them up. I have even been tempted to give them Geavy Bolters instead of the Lascannons to give a bit more ranged Infantry killing power.
-The PCS and the Vets go in the Dettas and pop in for some late game objective grabs.
-The LC sabres set up towards the rear and hold objectives with the attached Lord Commisar and pop tabks and Air-Craft
-The Stubber Sabres are there to light things up in night fight and kill any unwanted deep stikers that might want to ruin the party. Most of the time will target infantry unless they lighting up a Vehicle etc.
-The Earthshaker carriages sit in the rear and drop Ordnance on the enemy
-Khan and the bikes push forward and harass the enemy if they get the chance they will go after Heavy MC's and will apply pressure on the enemy as a potential back field scoring/denial unit or line breaker unit.
A few questions.
-Is it worth taking a few Sabres for night fight? There is bound to be atleast a mission or two that has garenteed night fight.
-If I dropped the Sabres with search lights would I be better off putting in a second bike squad in or adding an extra Earthshaker Carriage to each squad. (Keep in mind that my side of the table is going to be cramped as it is with the Blob, Sabres & Carriages.
-Is there something I have overlooked and forgot to put a counter in for?
-What is the biggest weakness in this list?

The list looks good, the only thing I don't like is the blob, as you are leaving them without orders, which vastly reduces their effectiveness. Also, the PW conflicts in role with the LC, you'd be better off with LC or Melpta/PW, rather than LC/PW, as the to get the most out of the PW, you need to be charging, while to opposite is true for the LC.
Other than that, there's no glaring weakness I can see.

The blob has been bothing me as well. I don't really even want them there. If I could ditch them I would. I mainly want to use them as a speed bump and I don't really want to be moving them that much as the games have a 2 hour time limit. I might drop the Power Axes and maybe even 10 guys and use the extra points for some more bikes. Some more melta is need in this I feel as I lack a lot of reliable AV14 killing power.

Melta/LC is a good short-long range combo. The thing is, you kind of need them to survive in case something goes wrong with the fliers and they arrive late or get shot down before they can drop off troops. Khan and the bikers can grab one objective, and the vets/PCS can get one assuming they don't get blown up, but I'd rather have the blob for a little insurance (can the sabres capture objectives? if they can, then this is not so important).
Another option is to not combine them, and keep one or even 2 squads out of LOS on an objective, maybe with just the LC poking out for shots of opportunity. This will give the enemy more targets, mean you can only lose 10 guys max to any given squad, and can spread more to prevent congestion in your deployment area. I'd be hesitant to drop below 30 guys, as 20 is just too easy for the likes of tau and marines to blow away early on, especially as the sabres are likely out of range, the earthshakers are out of LOS, and the dettas are not on the board T1, leaving the best targets the infantry and bikes, and I imagine the general idea will be to focus small arms on the platoon and leave the bikes to the bigger guns in the first turn of two.

The Sabre's Crew can score but the guns cannot I believe. I think I might just go with a 30 man shooty Blob with 3 Lascannons and swap out the Power Axes for Meltas. If I drop the Commisars Power axe as well I will have 10pts to burn. Tgen what.

The melta/LC platoon is sound, the extra 10 points can go anwhere you want really, possibly a combi-grav for the biker sgt.

Have you considered a Librarian or other SM HQ for the blob? ATSKNF plus other buffs they can provide would give your blob tons of staying power. It is quite a potent combination.

Don't I need a biker HQ to make the bikes troops? If not Khan will be swapped out for a Libby.

Right, I forgot that you could only take 1 HQ from an allied detachment. You do need a bike HQ to have bike troops. Sorry about that

I would like some ATSKNF though maybe a techmarine? He can bolster any terrian now so a bit of extra cover for my guardsman wouldn't go astray.
