What's the validity of running both of them? I just love the idea of a stealthy strike team pummeling full speed into enemy lines.
I would give each of them a unit of Vanguard Vets to roll with, on top of a bunch of ASM troops. What would be the most effective way to kit them out?

I'm a DA player, but I've always liked jump packs. Will it be competitive (compared to the casual book that is CA)? What support units would work best?

Only competitive in big points games. Vanguards and Assault marines are subpar in the assault phase, and vulnerable jumping across the board unless there are other distractions. And because of their point cost, its hard to field the needed distractions unless it is a big points game.

At least with Shrike you can hide his squad behind an advancing razorback or rhino or land raider and get +1 stealth. Korvy, who is FW and you have to get permission to play him has no such advantage.

.Only a fool believes there is such a thing as price gouging. Things have value determined by the creator or merchant. If you don't agree with that value, you are free not to purchase.
