Devastating Dark Reaper

Hello, preparing for an upcoming tournament with the new space marines codex, and I've gained some valuable insight after a few games with a purely defensive list where I lost against Grey Knights\Tau and Horde Space Marines ie Minotaurs. I'm now maximizing both scoring and midfield presence, while maintaining large levels of devastation from my pad, lowering my focus on HQs and combining chapter tactics so that I have both an optimized shooting presence and a stealthy objective grabbing section in the form of the Raven Guard and bolter scouts. Everything that isn't in a transport is either on the pad or in reserves.

Imperial Fists:
Master of the Forge w/Conversion Beamer
10x Tacticals/Bolters in Rhino
10x Tacticals/Bp&Cs in Rhino
5x Tacticals/Plasma Cannon/Bolters in Rhino
5x Scouts w/Bolters
5x Legion of the Damned/Multi Melta/Melta gun/ Combi melta
5x Legion of the Damned/Heavy Flamer/Plasma gun/ Combi grav
5x Legion of the Damned/Plasma Cannon/Plasma gun/ Combi grav
8x Devastators w/2x Lascannon/2x Missile Launchers
8x Devastators w/4x Missile Launchers w/ Frag
Thunderfire Cannon

Raven Guard:
ML2 Librarian
5x Tacticals in Razorback w/ Twin Linked Lascannon

Sky Shield Landing Pad

Raven Guard and Legion of the Damned are Chaos warped, the Librarian being a Son of Malice champion Wielding Weaponry of both warp and maleus to slay all that is formed and there's warping flame demons holding the heavy weapons for the legion so it's a lot of fun to play, just looking for general advice and discussion.

Death is just the beginning, for those who walk the path of Valhalla. Flesh is the stuff of the enemy, transcend it, for only in spirit are the Eldar truly eternal.

whats with the legions mixed weapons? i understand the Melta squad, the plasma cannon and grav squad, but the onw with HF and plasma? better to have same weapons. HF and ap2 shoudnt be shooting at same target.

I definitely hear what your saying on this one, once I had the general feel of the list set, and most of the points worked out I just kind of blanked out when it came to the legion weapon combos. I enjoyed the damage output of the plasma squad which I ran two of, but I really wanted to squeeze a heavy flamer into the list for tournament play to take out fire warriors, demon squads, imperial guard nobodies and the like, but those types of units are already going to die pretty hard to my legion of the damned as they make their slow advance onto that objective, so I figured that I might as well mix that squad a bit, because a heavy flamer is mediocre against marines, but great against the little guys and vice versa, and I'll admit that the grav is definitely out of place in that squad, do you think I should go for a heavy flamer and two plasmas for my infantry clearing, or how would you outfit that third squad for competitive play based on the rest of my list composition?

Additionally, do you think it would be worth one devastator from each squad to give my two ten man squads a single heavy/special weapon a piece?
