Northern Defenders is proud to announce the 6th edition of our annual tournament, the ND Open. Our tournament will take place the 1rst and 2nd of March 2014. This year again we will be offering you a WFB tournament, a W40k tournament and a painting competition. This will be another great event so don’t miss it!

For our 6th edition, our painting competition just got bigger with a lot of prize support and more space. We will also have more space available for our WFB and W40k tournament.

The details:
-1rst and 2nd march 2014
-Both lunches are included
-60$
-You will be able to register starting on 12th of October by PAYPAL
-You will be able to register to some local shop starting the 12th of November
-There will be a lot of prize support
-Tournament will be at the Officer’s Mess on CFB Valcartier

Painting Competition
Our Painting Competition, strong from his success from last year will be back with many hundreds of dollars in prize support. Mathieu Fontaine (http://www.akaranseth.com/) will be our judge this year again.

Categories will be:
Best Single Miniature
• All model of a 32 mm scale and less, orc and
human size
Best vehicle/war machine
• All vehicle and war machine kit with a scale of
32 mm (1/48 scale and less).
Best Monster
• Any model of the scale of 32 mm bigger than an
orc/human.
Best Units
• Any unit of 3 or more models with a scale of 32
mm or less.
Best 54 mm and more models
• Best 54 mm and more models
Best Open Category
• Anything that is not included in the above.

More details will be given in the Player’s Guide available in November. Don’t wait to register, last year the WF tournament took less than a month to full more than 50 places!
We will also have ND Qualifiers this year. Those tournaments will allow you to win a place for the ND Open. Two Qualifiers are already confirmed, but more will come.
