hello. been playing jap sectoral for a while and want a change. been getting a bunch of ariadna and want antipodes. problem is I just can't stand the models. does anyone know of any minis that would b good alternatives for then

Pupniks are the wrong base size (Antipodes are 40mm) but their armour also looks too techy for me, doesnt really fit IMO

I like the pupnik idea. I still want them to look semi intelligrnt like the antipodes. kinda half beast half man so I don't think the wolves would fit. I was also thinking the hordes skin walkers. the armour is a bit heavy for my taste though.

Proxies are hard to find because the concept is so unique. Best thing to do would be to find a dog or wolf range you like and convert them. What you really need to do is give them humanoid styled forearms and add some simple bits and bobs, described in the fluff. Kroot Sprues have a tonne of bits you could use to convert but you'd need a different source of arms. There is probably something suitable in WHFB, how are your conversion and sculpting skills? And your budget?

ive converted and sculpted a few things. budget isn't a problem. my main issue w the antipodes is they look just... wrong. I can't put my finger on it. I'm thinking if I can find a set cheap ill get then and see what I can do and try a bunch of ideas
