Hq;
Crowe
Librarian- staff, lv 3
Elite:
vindicare
troops;
1. Purifier 10: 2 Deamon hammers, 1 staff, 2 falcons, 5 halberds, Psybolt
2. Purifier 10: 1 Deamon hammer, 4 psy cannons, 5 Halberds, Psybolt
2. Purifier 10: 1 Deamon hammer, 4 psy cannons, 5 Halberds, Psybolt
Fast attack
Storm raven- Hurricane, Psybolt, M-M
Heavy support
Land raider crusader- psybolt, M-M
Tactic: Vindicare infiltrates and shoots at any heavy unit, or any key models that might give me trouble. librarian and purifier group 1 goes in the crusader, hopefully rolling on divination for the 4++ save. The other purifier squads run up the field, behind cover, getting good field control and bringing pain with the psy cannons, if the objectives are more heavy, split them into melee and shooty squads and send the melee guys up to destroy the gun lines with the land raider. Storm raven takes out lighter air, and is hopefully going to be a distraction, it can also kill infantry if it has too. Crowe is going to be going up the field as my anti warlord character, most people will ignore him, or waste their time attacking him so it is a win win either way.
If you have any thing to add, that is usefull advice please leave a message. ( i am not dropping the purifiers.)

I'd take a few incinerators somewhere in there instead all psycannons to fry most anything hiding behind an ADS or in cover. That would free up some points for a rhino or something to get your purifiers to the enemy faster. I know people shy away from Rhinos, but I usually find them pretty useful.

Sorry, i switeched out coteaz for a libby because they have a greater mastery. Automatically Appended Next Post: So, If i put one squad as 4 psy, and the other as 4 incinerators, putting them in a rhino, that would be good?
Also what is your opinion on the pure melee purifier unit, as well as switching out he land raider and instead just putting the cc purifiers into the storm raven?
What are your opinions.

I would consider your tactics on Crowe. He really isn't a bad ass. I found keeping Crowe back for counter assault was handy. Moving up the field means Crowe can be shot to pieces or just instagibbed and that's your warlord gone.
There's a lot of bodies in this list, but it looks easy to deal with. A single Land Raider can be taken care off easily with the right tools. Then you just have three Purifiers who can engaged three targets - unless you combat squad of course.
Seems to be lacking some bite.

I played a list like this the falcons are useless. I used two Psyfile dreads thought and a big unit of the teleport unit. This list looks really ez to counter. The only scay models are the LR and SR. Once they are gone its ez mop up from there.

I would drop the falchions and the staff, since they are too expensive for what they do.
Keeping Crowe in the back is generally a good idea (some let him man a quad cannon on an aegis defense line)
Depending on your tactics, the purifiers can be quite scary for the opponent.
