Lately my brother has been experimenting with Imperial Guard leaving his Space Wolves free to play with. I figured I'd take advantage of this to build an anti-armor drop list and I've always wanted to try Logan Bombing. Dropping 5 Multimeltas with Fire Control/Relentless into a tank line seems like the perfect way to disrupt any plans my opponent may have. And if there isn't any armor I send them after the toughest unit on the field. Does this list seem like it'll at least stand a chance? What would you do to tactics wise to improve its rate of success?

I think this is a good list. Here are a few comments.

1) The wolf priest doesn't really need a wolf tooth necklace. With WS 5, he already hits WS4 or less on a 3+. With the crozius arcanum (power maul) as a CC weapon, he can't really go toe to toe with a big nasty or a close combat character so hitting on a 3+ instead of a 4+ isn't really going to improve your chances that much. I'd save that 10 points for something else.

2) Same goes for the terminator armor on the wolf priest. If you take runic armor instead, you'll take up less space in a transport AND you'll still be able to sweeping advance. Since the wolf priest already has a 4+ invulnerable, the 5+ invuln from TDA doesn't help you.

3) I'm really not a fan of the CML's. I may be in the minority about this. But each CML costs 30 points. After you tack on the power fist, TDA and Storm Shield each of those models costs 88 points. For the cost of those 2 models alone, you could have an entire unit of Grey Hunters, or a dreadnought or lots of other stuff.

1) Good point, 99% of the time the Wolftooth Necklace isn't needed.

2)Another good point, I forgot he had a 4++

3)Yeah CMLs are kinda pricey. My intention was to give the Terminator something to fire while he had the SS/PF combo. Looking over the list again I can just stick with a Power Axe for free, drop the CML and with the points from the Wolf Tooth Necklace boost the Wolfguard up some. I'm still 4 points shy of giving all of them Combi- plasma but 15/16 ain't bad
