145 Autarch on Jet bike with Soulshiver, banshee mask, Reaper launcher (the S3 AP2 melee weapon with spritstealer from iyanden)

Idea behind this is to just run circles around my oppent for the first few turns while the Autarch and jet bikes crash into a weak unit to buff the autarch's weapon to S 6 - 9 then start hunting any larger threats suchs as MC's / Riptides or hvy armour.

Thoughts? Also thoughts on how I can save 1 point without going overboard with the idea behind this list? I am 1 point over.

solid list. you might want to consider finding points (meybe by dropping some bikes) to get d scythes on wraithgaurd. that always ends well

I play tested this list lastnight and fail with it vs a farsight enclave list. He utterly destroyed me through a combination of some bad dice rolls on my part and some awesome dice rolls on his. The Autarch and his bikes got shot to pieces on approach and never even made it into combat (error on my part for not being as aggresive as I should have been). I like the idea of the d scyth wraithguards but the 5 S10 guns are hard to part with. They are a good charge deterent and good horde control. If I was to go this rout I think I would drop the autarch for a farseer to save some points and bring a spiritseer and swap out the extra points from the bikes and DA's for a d sycht wraithguard sqaud and keep the regular wraithguard.

I will think of some tweeks and post a revised list later to day for some feedback.

dude....... dont count tha tbattle. Tau just dont count they are really the 1 army i CANNOT beat worrth my life. no matter how awesoem my list is, i get crushed

try it agaisnt any other lsit and youll be good

I don't mind loosing in test games. I would rather loose and find the weakness before the tourny.

Tau is very hvy in my meta and my buddy was playing a "That Guy " list.

this was also my first attempt at Mecdar since the new codex and I should have been much more aggresive than i was which is probably why I lost so bad.

I like this list, just need more practice playing it I think is the biggest issue.

once I get the autarch up to S6+ the riptides start to cry.

Having troubles with white tide with both these lists. Any ideas?
