This is the preliminary test paint on one of my Desert Pimp fire warriors from my Dubstep Cadre. There are a few minor details I need to go through and complete still. The crux terminatus on the shoulder, for instance, maybe rework the shoulder emblems, maybe the thigh pads could be redone in a different style. Maybe the round bit in the rifle needs something to make it pop, but I'll likely leave it alone. The color scheme is deceptively simple, despite the steady hand it takes to do all that edging.

Armor:
Xereus Purple, Leviathan Purple Wash, Ice Blue edging.

Cloak:
Graveyard Earth, Reikland Flesh Shade wash, Terminatus Stone over the raised scales, Reikland Flesh Shade wash over the whole thing, Dark Flesh around some edges kind of randomly.

Dubstep:
Wub, Wubwub wash, Bass Drop drybrush, Movie Quote, Wubwub wash again, Bass Drop for flavor.

I like the model, although the blue lines I'd like to see a bit finer.
Mayb go back with the purple if its too tricky to paint a line so thin. The trick to painting the line thin and neat is brush control and paint thinning; thin the paint out some, and then dab about 90% of it off the brush onto a paper towel before going to the model, you will hopefully feel a much better control over where its going.

Unsure what precisely is dubstep about the paint scheme? ...please elaborate?

The 'crux terminatus' isnt, its a sept marking, crux's are imperial , go on veteran and terminator space marines only pretty much.

'Ain't nothing crazy about me but my brain. Right brain? Riight! No not you right brain! Right left brain? Right!... Okay then lets do this!!
