Got a phone call from FW.

They are aware of the issue and say my order will not be placed and that they are not bound by law to sell at that price.

They are correct, under UK consumer law, a price is an invitation to buy, but the contract isn't complete until money actually changes hands.

Whether you could argue you had indeed paid them £0.00 is another matter, but frankly it isn't worth the cost and effort to argue, and without some form of acknowledgement from FW, it would be a very hard case to argue.

The real question is not really the law, but A) Gw will almost surely refuse the sale.. and B) You need lawyers.. not the law on your side to dispute it. I imagine contract lawyers cost more than a bio titan so it's all a wash.
