Three Color Minimum

I have been painting DW terminators by priming white, washing with AP strong tone then highlighting back up to white, I really like the way this loks but it takes forever.

I have just tried priming white then oil washing with W&N burnt umber, this looks almost as good and takes only minutes to do, with a little airbrushed beige/white basecoat instead of pure white this should be an improvement and faster to boot.

However the burnt umber looks too red when next to a strong tone mini. Can anyone suggest a oil paint the would be a close match for strongtone/dev mud? I have ordered raw umber since that looks prety close but I'm guessing someone on here knows the artsy name for dev mud.

Thanks in advance.

raw umber...
just wait for your order

edit; depending on the raw umber youre getting; my liquitex acrylic ink raw umber is the same colour as devlan mud/agrax earthshade but needs darkening to actually match up, tiny amount of their carbon black does it.

According to this page - http://www.winsornewton.com/products.aspx?PageID=83 - raw umber does seem to the right choice.
