Ok, so here is my 2000 pt list that I plan to bring to a tournament in 2 weeks.
However, for the first time in a long time, I feel like I'm having issues cutting off my final points.

Here is the list (I'm using double FOC)

The total comes to 2281, which I know would be evened with the kannons taken out, but they just seem so efficient.
Experienced advice would be much appreciated.

Easy, cut the meganobz and BW. I run a very similar list and love my battlewagons but can't make them work in 6th anymore. A single BW won't make it to where you want to go.

The shoota boy squads also need to be 30 strong. A mob of 20 loses fearless too soon. So you'll have to cut something else. The mega armor should go, but then you would need another HQ for double FOC (KFF).

I assume one of the Kannon squads is manning the quad gun? I would drop the 6 extra gretchin in the other squads. I've found that most opponents will ignore the kannons, because there are too many other threats pushing up field and shooting at T7 grots behind an ADL isn't very efficient.

^This is solid advice.

I got close, but had to switch one kannon squad to a grot squad and drop the lootas down to 9 each. You could also split the loota up into 6 squads (4x5, 9, 9) which would work pretty well to spread out threats.

I was slightly worried about 1 lone battlewagon, and you confirmed my suspicions.
One thing though is that I'm not sold on KFFs, especially with wave serpents and TFCs being my biggest threats. I read some mathhammer a while ago showing how it's not really efficient unless with 180 boys.
I like the idea of breaking the Lootas up into 6 squads, I think that will work much better.
I also think I might keep off the big choppas to try and keep the third kannon squad. Hmmm, I'm still a little over.

Wow i run this list alot! and i have found very limited success. well mines more of a watered down version without the extra Lootas in it.
In my expirence kill a PK on the bikers for a BC and give the front few cyborks instead. it will help tank some bullets and will be ok vs ignores cover n such cheese.
also kill the extra Meganob for Deffrolla and a big shoota.
Edit: agreeing alot with wormark. didnt read the comments much lol. also he is right about the kannons i had forgot that part. the t7 grots will be ignored untill the end or unless they have a DP unit than he will boom ur bw and move on.
