Hello DakkaDakka,

I've enjoyed looking at your galleries for a few weeks and just thought I'd say hello and thanks to the active forum.

I would call myself a '40k hobbyist non-gamer' since I really enjoy the grimdark lore and the fantastic models and art associated with the 40k universe, but find the actual tabletop game too tedious for my liking. Nonetheless I painted up a bunch of models from the Dark Vengeance set and am pretty amazed by the amount of detail you can see in such tiny plastic models (see my collection below).

Crush your enemies, see them driven before you and to hear the lamentations of the women.

Honestly man, give the game a go. Its a shame to have such beautiful minis and not put them to use - the vanilla rules used in a 'casual' environment or a campaign are a blast (they are quite gak for 'serious' gaming though), or failing that, you can always use different rules but the same minis!

I most definitely agree, those chaos cultists need slaying.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
