I finally got around to photographing this little guy. The acid spray was chosen because it looked really cool, and then it turned out that it was (in my opinion) the most versatile weapon loadout.

And since the venomthrope's carapace is a good example of what I've been doing for all of them, here it is as well.

Wow. Really liking how that Carapace is blended and two-tone in some places - it's a nice difference from the traditional feathered carapace. Excellent work!

Looks great. what wash are you using on the fleshy pink areas? It looks very heavy, a slightly dirty brown, something more flesh-coloured, like Ogyrn Flesh, might be an improvement?

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll give it a shot - I am not too familiar with the GW washes, so was using devlan mud for the pink areas. I'll grab some ogryn flesh, any other ones you might recommend?

Really like this scheme, great combination of colours, and well executed

Ah, that explains. The new flesh wash is a different name, but will look much nicer on the pink areas. THe sepia wash will look really nice on the more bone-coloured areas, definitely worth experimenting with.

Then I will pick some up. I'll have to get one of each flavour, for science. Thanks for the suggestion.
