The problem with Eldar transports in general are two-fold; Harlequins don't have any and anything stepping out of an Eldar vehicle thinking about assaulting is going to have to worry about a whole lot heavier fire power than overwatch while they sit pretty out in the open.
Falcon
The problem with the Falcon is that it's just not a worthy contender for the Heavy Slot. What are you going to put in it? A couple of Harlequins to get mowed down when they exit? Ditto on the Banshees? Fire Dragons seem like a good choice... or you could go for the slot-less, cheaper and deadlier Wave Serpent which also allows for more models inside.
- Free of charge replace the Shuriken Catapults with a Shuriken Cannon.
- Add Assault Vehicle.
- Remove text mentioning upgrading the Catapults and improve the turret upgrade text to allow upgrade of either of the Shuriken Cannons.
This way you have a slightly stronger in the shooting department while also providing the Falcon with a truly unique feature which isn't just a powerful laser that's actually weaker than the Prism Cannon for the same cost. You can now have under-slung bright lances*!
Question is... dedicated transport?
Wave Serpent
The problem with the Wave Serpent is the reverse. Wave Serpent is the exception to the rule of GW buffing models to improve sales - everyone serious about Eldar already had a couple of handfuls of them and now they are insanely good. 60" S7 Heavy avg4? Yes please. Would you like cover ignore on that? Yes please! How about good AP? Well, at least they reigned in in time to prevent that particular tragedy.
- Increase cost by 10
- Reduce range of the Serpent Shield to 24"
- Serpent Shield is now a weapon as far as the damage table is concerned.
- Add Assault Vehicle.
Let's face it, this is a dedicated transport and shouldn't be the reason to buy dudes. The dudes should be the reason to buy the transport. Also, having 12 transport slots it benefits from Assault Vehicle much better. Oh, and Assault Vehicle suddenly makes Vectored Engines a worthy upgrade on it's own merit instead of a gimmick!
* At the same cost as a turret Bright Lance, but with less than half the fire arc, mind you!
